Ye, I get that, I jsut couldn't figer out how the drain worked, beacuse obvosly you don't want it draining while your trying to fill the thing up with water.

How much slower is E&F commpared to DWC?
Hey Mr Green Man,
The long piece prevents your tub from overflowing, by dumping the extra nukes back into your rez as the tub fills up and the smaller part is what you connect to your pump to fill the tub. The nukes drain out through that same smaller part back through your pump, once the system shuts off.

As far as rate of grow, I'd say that your plants will be between 10%-20% smaller. But a 8 week strain will still finish in the same amount of time; well okay maybe there is a 1 weeks savings of time/advantage with DWC. But the thing with DWC is that you see such explosive growth from begining to end, the growth with ebb&flo is pretty moderate - but consistant and I use to really love growing that way. I'm just tired of all the water, so I went Hempy.

Good luck on your new system

:peace:

I dunno how much room you have, but I am using an ebb and flow bucket system and it is awesome easy to use, requires little to no attention, is easy to clean, and you can make one yourself. I bought mine, but only cause I found a good deal on ebay, I was planning on building one though and read up on it. This system really is working great for me, I have the plants to prove it but no camera :-( They just take up a bit of room, but you can grow trees in em.

Cools.

I under stand about the pump now. That makes perfect sense.

I have a small space, and to make the most of it I will have to build my own, Also I think I can use quite alot of my DWC stuff so in the system, so I can save some €.

Depending on how the Ebb and Flow thing goes I might end up doing DWC in the winter when I am home all the time and Ebb and Flow in the summer when I am out more offten, but we will see.

Here are some pics of my DWC grow flower day 23.

Thank you.

I'm really pleased, It's my very first time. It's very exciting beacuse I don't knwo whats going to happen next.

Thank god for this web site. If it wasn't here and I had no one to share my pictures with I think I would have told someone what I am doing! By now.
A really good friend called round and was told me he was thinking of starting a grow op. Man, I really wanted to show him what I was up to. Glad I didn't though.
