I want to give RIU some $$$

It's really time for RIU to offer paid memberships for those who want them. This will separate the trolls from the growers really quickly. There could be the non-paid section (like the current setup) and a paid section. Or just a password protected section for trusted senior members.

I would pay $10 a month, automatically billed/drafted from PayPay, Visa, MC or AMEX. I've never used the Elite Rolling Society since it was closed when I joined. Why not allow a small monthly fee for access to this section? You have to have a minimum post count of say 500, minimum 6 months of active board participation, be invited or sponsored by another RIU senior member or Mod & you must have +rep points of say at least 500 points.

Do you think a fee based area would limit your interaction with trolls, provide privacy and improve the overall RIU experience?

There was... The Elite Rolling Society. It is now defunct and I'm not sure how effective it was. As far as I know, Socata is the only active ERS member left, ask him and the admin about it x

I'm pretty sure they won't spend $120 a year to harass us. And if they do we can ban them. I feel strongly this would make an overall better experience for those of us who want to grow without being harassed.

well looks like you dont make the cut. it should be a 1000 posts anyway. shouldnt have to pay to be elite but how far do i have to shove my head up my ass to be conciderd that pompus?

they do this on thcfarmer.. and its bullshit.. some1 just needs to make an INVITE only.. website.. fuck making money off it .. just to show off ur grows without getting into trouble.. since we cant go around telling everyone we know what we do .. we could atleast share with other growers.. i dont do journals.. anymore cause of security reasons.. but if it was a site that only seriose growers could even log on to .. id be down to pay money for it .. but not something that anyone can pay 10 bucks and come and harrass people. somepeople spends more then 10 to harass look at the price just for internet alone..

Why would asnyone even want to suggest that is beyond me . Fuck that , does paying for stuff make you feel better ? I doubt it would change anything . Just cost more with nothing in return .
