I want to grow tomatoes!

Hey peeps!

I just ordered all different kinds of heirloom tomatoes...and I cant wait to grow them in my DWC system:)

My question is, can I grow them with my cannabis plants? what are the light cycles for tomatoes?

Its a great idea until theres a problem and you have to start investing money to fix problems that tomatos are causing. My seven foot wide jalepeno plant came down when i had to start spraying for mites years back. Holy crap did i ever eat a lot of jalepenos for a while though. I would recommend not doing it. Ive heard a million new growers saying the same thing and trying to. Eventually the veggies come out of the grow room...every time. Do whatever makes you happy though. I had one 600 w light totally devoted to that jalepeno plant.

My tent is sealed. Using mosquito nets...

No pets...

preventative spraying, immaculately clean grow room... A lil' neem oil can go a long way for preventing mites, but the moment they show up, use something else to kill them.... every 3 days... several times... with several killers.... good high pressure rinsing afterwards.....

mites are fuckers.....

Preventitive sprays always!! Especially indoor!! Even if you were flowering aboard the ISS space station, you could still get a quick full blown mite infestation from one simple mite. I mean the little bastards can make it anywhere dust can!

I'm a smoker and anymore when I get these fucken pests, I boil up some tobacco and spray the fuck out of my plants and kill the bastards! since I'm a smoker, the nicotine ain't gonna hurt me and it doesn't hurt the plants..

Oh, BTW, I also add some dish soap not much and a small amount of vinegar...this is only what I do, this is not for everybody.

I boiled up some of my cayenne peppers and made a spray with it. Strained it off then sprayed every few days and it certainly helped keep them under control. I also got a 2" wide soft paint brush and brushed the bottom of the leaves as much as possible to get rid of the mites.
