I want to try out controlled release fertilizers.

Anybody got any pointers?

Looking specifically to do it in a hempy bucket. I read a few threads on it elsewhere but haven't seen anybody use it here.

It looks like a lot less work and pretty cheap, too.

There are a few companies that make this stuff.

Osmocote Plus is one variety of it. The problem it looks like is they have 3-1-2 ratio fertilizers for vegging and 1-1-1 ratio all the way through but nothing that people recommend specifically for blooming.

I never recommend an all in 1 solution to nutrients.
Even though people have had success with floranova series I personally dont recommend it.
I remember following one guy for a while whos been growing for ten years.
He had osmocote handled, dialed in, and they looked great!
But he always stated how hard it was to be able to balance the ph and intake of nutrients.


its up to you in the end though, and from his results id say go for osmocote.
