So after scanning through a few of the Stealth Threads, I have found the grow room I've been looking for! As some of you know, I'm just starting out with something small just to get the feeling of growing. I've been researching for months, gathering notes and going over as many pieces of the cultivation puzzle as possible and I'm ready to dip my feet in.
I'm not really looking for stealth. I'm getting a condo with my girlfriend, she smokes, my mom and dad smoke and they're open with it. I'm just looking for more of a good set up, though theres nothing wrong with a little stealth.
Anyways, Back to the Ice chest. I have this Igloo™ ice chest outside. Now my plan is to turn this bad boy on its side, So I can put the height on it to use. The dimensions for it are,
-3 Feet and 3 Inches Long
-1 Foot and maybe 2-3 Inches Tall
-And 1 Foot and three Inches Wide
So what I'm getting at is, Is this a good idea? I figured two, maybe three plants under a 250w is a good first starter, but than I found this and I figured, maybe one big plant will do? What do you guys think? It's very spacious inside suprisingly, And I'm thinking with maybe a few tweaks of my own I can turn this into a fairly good project.
I put my cell phone on video mode, Put it inside the ice chest and closed the box while it played and from what I can see there is no light coming in at all. I think the most of my problems will be trying to maintain the heat within the ice chest, due to it being air tight, literally, the light will definitely up the head in there. But since it's bright white throughout the entire box itself, I figured thats a cut back on paint/mylar/ any other material. Gimme some ideas, advice or commentary on what you guys think I should do.
