Ice, Cold, Room, or Hot

What temperature water do you guys put in your bongs? I know most people use ice or cold water but i have recently switched to hot water. I was smoking with a buddy of mine and he put hot water in the bong. I asked him why and his reply was "I think cold water makes it hit harsher b/c the hot smoke goes thru cold water (or ice) and then condenses, then goes into your lungs which heats up up again and expands it. Whereas pulling thru hot water will keep it pretty much the same and give you a smoother hit". After trying it i'd have to say that I agree. What about you guys?

I've done both, I like the cold water honestly but sometimes I do dabs with warm water and it really takes the harshnish off

I use room temp filtered water in my bongs. I don't like the condensation on the outside of the glass when using cold water.

it broke which was a sad day but i like coil bongs and they hit the smoothest imo
