Ice hash in sub-zero brine.

Sounds crazy huh?

Did you know that putting salt on ice not only causes it to melt, it also cause a brine that is far colder than freezing. I'm talking sub-zero painful cold.

It sounds like this would be a great way of mixing up your ice hash. and the salt should be real easy to flush out. Just dunk your finished bag in a bucket of fresh water.

This way you can get a good even blend in a mix that is mostly water instead of ice and yet even colder than ice itself.

I thought of that but I don't know for sure that I could ever get all the salt out of it, and my doctor told me to cut down on salt.

I think I'm going to. I can't think of a reason the salt shouldn't just wash away. And mixing a liquid and ice slury has to be easier and more effective than stirring a bucket full of ice.
