Ice questions

If I were to grow, I was thinking about going with Ice. I can't get any good solid numbers on it though. One site says the plant height is "medium", what is medium, another site says "tall plant", one site says 100 cm = around 3.5 ft., another site says 60 to 80 cm. As for flowering periods, they are all around the same 55 to 60, 63 to 70, 56 to 62 days, so I came up with an average of 8 1/2 weeks from about 5 different sites. Some say the yield is 400 - 500 (g/m² in SOG), another site says 150 indoor (not sure if that is per plant, or g/m in a SOG style), one has it listed as "High Yield", another is 375 to 475, one says "Up to 200 gram / square meter". As for what type of plant, one site has it listed as 85/15 indica/sativa, one has it listed as 50/50, another one has listed "Hybrid", and another is "Mostly Sativa".

So which one is right? I really have no solid numbers to go off of, because each site has different numbers and says different things about the strain. Is there a particular website that has very very accurate numbers to go on? Does anyone have any experience with Ice themselves, and if so how does it perform, high tall (inches), yield per plant, flowering period, how long from start to finish?

id go with nirvana if they still have it. but everything depend on how you grow. most that state square meters use a sog to get that. you can grow the plant to any height almost depending on the size of the container and room it has to grow. if you do sog, like me, you can pack 5 or 6 plant in a square meter. i use clones and throw right into flower and adverage around an ounce per plant, so 5-6 ounces per square meter, thats...not even 200g. i have never gotten the results it states online. now i have been getting that with white widow, which is not a great producer "250-450g per square meter." but i dont grow for profit so, 200g with two flower rooms=400g every three months. plenty for me. if you want weight, im trying to get light of jah, says 700g per square meter. i just wanna see what id get. but you also cant buy single seeds. i have no use for more than 3 or 4 since i grow mothers and clone, then flower the mom while another is growing. fuck my ww mom is a square meter still in veg.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm not necessarily looking for weight as much as looking for what Ice does on average. It just seemed like there are so many different "results" from different sites that it's tough to figure out what exactly this plant does. lol I would hate to get a plant that says it stays small to medium and it grows to 6 ft., unless of course 6 ft. is considered medium :D

also, you can choose if you want a smaller plant. yea a two inch plant wont flower-tried an experiment growing from seed in 12/12 with bagseed.....grew to around 8 before i saw sites and well, shes going on 15 weeks and doesnt look near done. its def has structure like sativa, but this is getting too long. but if you veg to say 30cm, youll get 60cm in the end. if you let it grow til it stops, then flower, thats the height they state even though they dont themselves grow it that way. all my clones refuse to flower unless there at least 6 inches.

Ahhhh o.k., thanks for the info hughesresearch. I wondered about that. I hear people saying that they start the flowering process as soon as it breaks the dirt, but to me that doesn't seem like it would be as productive or be as potent if it were to veg for a little while first. From years past, I have seen people start their plants off indoors, let them get about 8,10,12 inches tall then transplant them outdoors in late spring. By the time the end of fall comes around they are well over 6 ft. and have buds everywhere. I know that is a loooong time to let a plant veg so that's probably why they get so tall. I wonder if the length of time vegging is important for the plant to be as potent as it should be. I imagine it would.
