I'd appreciate an assessment of my light setup

Hey guys,
Around 10 days ago I transferred 4 rockwool cubes to my deep water culture system.

This is my first grow and I really have no idea what the proper led light setup would look like for the 3x3 grow tent I have set up.

The lights are:
Growstar 600w LED (Cheap Chinese made LED)

HTG 3.0 360w COB LED grow light

The lights you have will work,you won't get full potential from your plants though.It is a place to start,don't expect them to last long either.Look into diy with strips or qb boardsfrom a reputable company.Hlg,budget and some others are good .Look at true watts for lights.

And I just looked at the HTG light you purchased - holy effing shit did you overpay for that thing!! At that price point, you have so many better options. If you're somewhat handy, look into building your own light. Go over to the LED subsection in the Indoor Growing forum, if you want to take a trip down that rabbit hole. If you just want to purchase something plug and play, look into HLG, Timber, Amare, Fluence, and I'm sure others can add to this list as I know I'm forgetting and leaving a few out. If you're looking for a good light on a budget, take a look at Spider Farmer, Phlizon, Hortibloom, or Mars.

Hey guys I really appreciate the detailed responses. @Johnny Lawrence Thanks for listing some plug and play lights at various price points for me. I was a bit overwhelmed setting up the grow tent initially and opted for a complete set-up which included the very overpriced LED haha.

Hey, I think I have that same cheap Chinese light. I used it along with red t5's in a 3x3x6 tent turned on it's side and scrogged everything. The light did pretty well, on par with the t5's but better quality and more purple color under the LED. Hope your run with it turns out fire
