I'd like a second (knowledgable) opinion on my grow setup to be.

My setup: 400 watt MH , 400 watt HPS, 200 watt (6500k)CFL. My garden area will be 5'x4'x6.5-7'. I planned on using either Mylar or Black and white Poly Plastic to enclose my area but I haven't decided which one will give me the durability and reflectivity I want my side walls to have. I also planned on having oscillating fan for air intake and another fan for hot air exhaust. I will be doing one room with a veg cycle and flower cycle. The medium I plan on using is FF happy frog for I like the mixture and its treated me well in my previous gardens outside. My biggest concern is finding a nutrient regiment that I like and suits my needs. I am new to chemical fertilizers but I have a basic understanding for NPK ratios.I know that nitrogen is crucial in the veg state and potassium is crucial in flowering, but I also understand that a garden provided with many nutrients throughout all cycles of it's life will thrive. I have been considering Advanced Nutrients connoisseur for flowering, possibly something by FF or even Botanicare. For the vegetative growth I planned on using a 10-1-1 Mexican bat guano by Sunleaves. Another question I have is what is an efficient method of growing my plants? SoG Scrog LST. All of the light I noted in my setup will be on at once giving me a mixed spectrum that hopefully favors the vegetative growth at first due to my blue spectrum cfl along side my 400 watt MH. ANY INFO HELPS! Thank you fellow enthusiasts!:eyesmoke:

I used Mylar for years its a pain. If you don't clean it every grow it doesn't even work god forbid if you folar feed. Black and white is great and very durable I have even put it on the floor and couldn't F it up. Im all hydro and I use advanced and love it but everyone says it will kill your soil with all the salts but like I said I'm all hydro. I would use big bud as it is the best bloom booster out there IMO.

Awesome brother! Thanks for your input I will look into big bud and some trial results. Also I was leaning toward black and white poly anyway so you helped me make my decision.

Go big on your intake, and exhaust fans...plan on ducting out the smell, somehow...
Carbon filter would be a good idea...
With that much Wattage in one room, you will need to either chill the air, or bring cool, clean air into room, and then get it out...

those were my thoughts as well, I have a large area surrounding my 5'x4' and its in a cool basement so hopefully with some nice fans and air flow my temps stay low
