Idea for a pipe

I am pretty stoned right now so be easy. But I have this idea for a pipe or bong. It may have already been used but o well. It would be an ordinary pipe/bong except on top of the bowl there would be a lid. It would work like a beer stein (sp?). Where ur thumb would work the lever to open the lid, take a hit, then let off and the lid closes. This would stop the bud from smuldering and wasting it in between hits. I don't know, might not work right. But, I don't like to waste weed.

You can do the same thing with your thumb (not by snuffing it but by cutting off the oxygen)

Youd burn your fingers as the lighter would heat the lid

head shops around here sell cheap metal pipes for 5 bucks, they have a screw on lid with a hole in the top of where u can light it and it won't fall out
