my mistake, not for rooting clones but for veging them... not saying I wouldnt try to root some in there but, I want a small small hydro system for veging fairly small plants.

whats wrong with an aero bucket? i means its like 1 bucket so to me thats small. fits like 4-6 clones or something. same setup basically as the aero rubbermade basically

the bucket is too tall. my flowering room is only 5 feet tall, so I just veg my plants to be about a foot a foot and a half, and I veg in a rubbermade bin.. I was thinking of trying to somhow make a small aero system or DWC... or in this case shallow WC
I would like for it to be less than 6 inches tall, and maybe 2 feet by 2 feet.

Uses the Rollitup profile
How about a plastic pot full of rocks, with your rooted plant in it. That would just be a 6 inch tall pot, sitting in a tub to be flooded. You could easily move the plant in the pot from veg room flood bed to flowering room flood bed.

yea that sounds like it would work, but than I would need an external res... but not a big one... I'll give that some thought.

sounds like u want a 2x2 flood tray, or you could also use a big cat liter pan its about 6inchs high.. but if u dont want a external res.. hmm i guess dwc is your only option

thats what I was thinking... but do you think its possible with a 6 inch tub?
I'd need lots of air stones to make sure the bubles got to each plant... or get one of thoes wands

Why not just keep it simple and get a tray and put the plants and their small cube into a larger cube, like maybe 4", that way each one will only take up 4"

If you wanted you could get a little more technical and make it flood n drain if you wanted to, although flood cycles wouldn't be needed that regularly.

yes.. but after a few months the roots may be crazy in there, just take clones and start over..

You can use just big rockwool cubes and just water them?
wait but thats no good because I plan on putting them in another system and I dont want to put big rockwool cubes in there, is there another similar way to that?

yea maybe DWC wouldnt be too hard:roll: mbut than the roots might get tangled and be hard to take apart... man... theres got to be a way!

I know its my fault!!! thats the worst part I cant blame anyone else
becaue I have too many plants and the aero system i full of buds... so I want a second one for veging... I know theres got to be a way!!!!:blsmoke:

setup a lowprofile dwc tub for mothers and use the aero or some type of ebb&flow for your flowering!
