I've been thinking about an idea for a yearly 'awards'.
Basically, RIU forum members would nominate fellow forum contributors, for different aspects.
For example:
Most GENEROUS Member....?
By 'generous' I mean with their knowledge and the lengths they will go to to patiently explain something.
'Most Helpful' may be a better name?
Most LEARNED Member...?
I'm a beginner at growing and the level of expertise I have witnessed in some of my fellow RIU members
has been staggering!
From the guys who have been guerrilla growing for 30 years, and will happily share the benefit of their VAST experiences
To members with more precise areas - The SPECIALISTS.
It may be a Ph.D level understanding of the chemical reactions necessary for making concentrates
Or an expert level grasp of breeding new strains/creating better genetics
Prior discussion would be needed to decide what actual awards would be included....?
As far as I am concerned this idea is WIDE OPEN.
The only thing that I would feel strongly about is to accentuate the positive.
This idea has come to me as a possible way to replace the 'LIKE' button system with something that could end up being quite special.
Being voted a honorary award, by your fellow forum users, would be a cause of pride.
Suggestions welcome.
