I'm trying to figure out where all of the temp recommendations are coming from in relation to what nature dishes out for leaf vs ambient

They are usually coming from trials in a controlled environment. Why are you messing that up with readings from a uncontrolled environment? And to achieve what exactly?

Not to mention all the differences between soil life outdoors vs potted plants. And how little of our lights actually make it down to the pots. Is this even about weed or is it another argument for leafy greens haha
