Ideas for increasing yield

Ok so I need a little help, Ive just harvested my first grow and didn't think I got as much as i should have it was just bag seed I did a 3 gallon soil grow with fox farm bloom nute I didn't get any nute on the veg growth, I'm running a 400 w hps for flowering and thought I should have got a bit more I know it's my first time and beg seed but with the 4 plants I grew I think I'm going to get about 10 grams at best dryed So I've just ordered real seeds and getting ready to start over but I'm wondering what's a good way for yield increasing ive starting g reading about (sog) (LST) (scrog) (lollepopping). Sorry I know I suck with the spelling but I hope u get it and there's more Ive heard of but I would like to know the best and easiest for a new guy?

If you got 10 grams from a 400 watt that is like super bad verging on complete waste of time and energy. You got more problems than just increasing your yield, you need to learn how to grow first. Decide what style you want to grow and find a guru.

damn son i just harvested over 15 lows under a 400 avg around an oz to 2oz wet somethin aint rite

Something is up, you should average 2-3 oz per plant and thats only 4 week veg off of a clone in a 3 gal pot. I would veg longer and work up too 5-7 gal pots before starting the flower stage.

Well thanks mr master it's hard to grow from bag seed and on a first grow as well plus I'm pretty sure I had auto flowing and didn't know it tell my clones were all flowering under 24 so my flowering light was messed up too but I really don't need some to tell me how bad some thing was when I wrote this for HELP but thanks any way big help dude. I do believe and u can see from some of my other posts with pics of my flowering my plants were good not all leggy and nice start to colas

The best and easiest is to go all natural.

Its ok to have bad runs. You can improve. Japan's comments make sense....a good book also makes sense. IMHO online and forum help is great...but a book is always there & they can present stuff that are need to know subjects in the order they should be learned.

No it isn't. Many people have fine grows from bag seed. Look I'll be more than happy to help you, but you need to drop the bullshit real quick or I won't bother. There's no shame in not knowing what the fuck you are doing if nobody has helped you.

Then lose the attitude and excuses. You're talking about big yields when you can't get a shitty yield yet.

read up on going scrog with a deep water culture setup also a heavy strain I recommend delahaze.
Learn all you can grasp the concepts then go crazy with your own twists and turns. Don't fear asking detailed questions there are plenty of helpful friendly ppl here.

Its your first grow man, learn from your mistakes and you will get better. There are good people on here that will help you, just ignore the jerkoffs and keep at it. Some pictures will really help you to get the answers you need.

Well I guess I'm the jerk-off for pointing out that the dude doesn't need to worry running before he can walk.

Dude, you're not going to get help acting like that.

Japanfreak told you what went wrong, you don't know how to grow. He is right, you don't need to know how to increase your yields, you need to learn how to grow.
He also gave you great advice, pick a style (all are quite good and can yield around the same amount as each other if you know how) and learn about it (find a guru). That's the only way you can do it.
Choosing a different way to suck at growing isn't going to get you any more bud.

You need to learn the basics. Like PH, nutes, soil mix, hydro, lights, light distance, ventilation, temperature, humidity, feeding and watering schedules, training, trimming, topping, and much more.. If you don't know the basics, you can choose to use SOG, SROG, LST, whatever. You're still not going to get any good yields.. The styles of growing aren't magic, they are preferences. The magic is knowledge, you're recreating a natural environment for the plants, it's got to be quite accurate, or you're going to fail.

If you ask a question, and someone points out what you're doing wrong, don't get mad at them. Thank them, cause now you know what you're doing wrong. Then ask them how you can do it right. Being a little douche nozzle isn't a good way to get people to help you.

Never thought something so simple would need and idiot's guide, nice work not so idiot like. As with any medium the space you give your root system the greater the yields. My current grow is set up so each girl has her own 20 gal bucket to I'm also vegging a little longer than normal to make use of all the space.

JapanFreak has a point. There is so much info on this site that if you were at all serious about growing you would find the info then ask if you don't understand what you are reading. Maybe we could just go over there and grow it for them and then roll it up and smkoe it for them to...maybe cook you some brownies and poor you some milk.

I wouldn't either to tell the truth but at an old site I was a member at I kept on seeing the same mistakes in DWC, like people putting seedlings in with no chance of them getting wet from the bubbles. People do some odd shit.

Let us know what you learn also throw out some spec's i.e. grow room size and the like. If it helps you got 10 grams more than I pulled my first grow... funny story, really keep it up and get into sponge mode and soak up everything you can. Growing is the ultimate pandora's box, some crazy shit out there
