Identify deficiency

Plants have been veg 3-4 weeks from clone under 2000w. Foxfarm ocean forest mixed with happy frog. No nutes just tap water at 440ppm. I just gave them a dose of floranova grow and floralicious plus at 800ppm +440 from the water. Next watering epsom salt at 1/2 tsp per gallon thinking maybe mg problem.

EC was 1.78 when I watered with grow nutes and 2 days later I gave it the epsom which was yesterday. I have no idea what the soil ph is. I have an iq-150 meter but the ifset probe is bad and new one is $350.

I water good when transplanting into the ffof it takes a week to dry out and then I fed I couldn't see going 3 weeks and not feeding it's hard to see whats what in the pic~

its not mg. mg will start at leaf tips and they will go yellow and pale.tips will curl down and edges may roll up.

i would say calcium and pretty bad too. has it been happening long? what do your new leaves look like? are they small and distorted with curled tips?

I would tend to agree.
One thing many people fail to consider is fox farms starts out hot but 3 weeks later it becomes fox fucked. PPMs is an absolute necessity in hydro but not soil. When you grow in soil you feed the soil so ppm does not tell you that much. In hydro you feed the water. To grow in soil tracking ph is everything ppm is :?:

i would say water quality but you said it's tap so it should be fine. i've been told my a couple friends that rust spots can be a calcium deficiency but usually tap water has some in it. maybe not enough. this may help a bit

actually i wouldnt say ppms is a necessity. to get the best out of your crop it is but i know plenty of ppl that do hydro and only measure the ph. they still get monstrous yields. they use more organic based nutrients though like botanicare. they're just lazy stoners that dont like to spend the extra time. they do damn good though for a low maintenance grow.

I just noticed. No longer than a week. Lots of the leaves are twisted. Some of the leaves on the sfv og, obama og, and bananna kush are leathery and hanging low. I haven't grown any of these strains before.

Magnesium is one of the easiest deficiencies to tell… the green veins along with the yellowness of the entire surrounding leave is a dead giveaway, but sometimes that’s not always the case here. In case you have one of those where it doesn’t show the green veins, sometimes leaf tips and edges may discolor and curl upward. The growing tips can turn lime green when the deficiency progresses to the top of the plant. The edges will feel like dry and crispy and usually affects the lower leaves in younger plants, then will affect the middle to upper half when it gets older, but It can also happen on older leaves as well. The deficiency will start at the tip then will take over the entire outer left and right sides of the leaves. The inner part will be yellow and or brownish in color, followed by leaves falling without withering. The tips can also twist and turn as well as curving upwards as if you curl your tongues. I think you have a mg/cal lockout due to high PH

I gave dose of floranova grow every other watering with 1tsp per gal of botanicare cal/mag. Also 2 tsp per 3 gal of ph down. Everything has returned to normal but I think I introduced PM when I forgot to water plants 1 day and they were withering. I heavily sprayed plants with water at least once a day and overwatered on purpose to get them back. I only lost 1 to drought. I think the extra water made perfect conditions for PM.

Interesting...91 Chemdawg did not get the pm and every other strain did. I think I need to take some cuttings as I'm only 1 week into flower and if it is truly PM resistant that's the strain I want to keep growing.
