Greetings all I have the pictured grow tent and I'm actively flowering two beautiful plants in the larger compartment. My issue is I that I have two clones (also pictured) currently growing outside and with day light decreasing I want to veg it some more to get bigger. In my tent I'll be using the small area to veg which is basically 1ft x 2.8 ft x 3ft. What light can I use to grow this plant. It will be in this space for about two months. Bonus question. I plan on transferring the plants to the pots pictured. Should I use smaller pots.

those bags are fine what i do is put my vegging plants under the same light as my flowering ones for the 12 hours they are on and then just move them out every night and put them under just a little led growlight for the other 12 hours that is if you are going to be there every day
They are attached to this post but basically they are sitting in Dixie cups right now.
What kind of lights do you have?

That specific plant was VEG'd under a Viparspectra V600 Reflector - hence the pinkish hue. That blurple has since been replaced with an HLG 320 RSpec. For flowering I am using Timber 2VL's
Alrighty. I think my real issue is how should I hang the light. Take a look at the picture I posted of the tent and the light. See how it hangs halfway down. My concern is if I put a plant in the tent it would bump into the light in no time. Should I find some alternative way to hang the light? Would that be problematic? How do you hang your light and how far down does it hang.

What I did to combat light hang was run the wires horizontally through each other and then just clipped to the newly formed loop, should get rid of 6-8 inches, sorry if I explained poorly, poc attached was only pic I could find that showed anywhere close to what I meant haha

Here's how I hang 'em:
A few 50 lb. chain links horizontally across the width of the light. I use the existing holes in the lights that were for the supplied ratchet straps. There is not much play in that horizontal length of chain.
In the VEG area, a length of the same 50 lb. chain on each side of the light hanging vertically from a 50 lb. cup hook. In the bloom tent, the vertical chain hangs from the metal support brace running across the top.
Large 'S' hooks to secure the two chains together. The hook does not come out of the horizontal chain and to maintain light/canopy distance I will raise and/or lower the lights by simply moving the S hook up or down the links of the vertical chain. In VEG that light/canopy distance is around 22" - 24" above. In the bloom tent, that light/canopy distance is currently 14" - and I have dialed down the bloom lights by about 25%.
I have attached some pictures of both the clones (plants) that I'm looking to veg for another two months and the growing area. From the bottom of the light to the top of the plant is about a foot and a half. What do you think? Any tips or advice?

Looks a bit over watered to me.
Yeah I keep them outside usually. What about the growing space? Would it be possible to veg in that space for two months.

Nope ... sorry. I don't think 8 weeks is doable. For a 5' tent I SCROG 2 plants that occupy nearly 8 square feet after 8 weeks of VEG. Your space is maximum 3 square feet. But you might be OK with a 5 week VEG.
Another example:

... in 33 days. The dimensions are about 1.5' (L) x 1' (W) x 1.5' (H). She has been manifolded in preparation for the SCROG net that is coming. Two plants of this size might fit into your smaller VEG area.
FYI - I see some white hairs poking up from the middle of the little one in the picture:
She's flowering. As this one goes back to VEG, the bud will revert from bud to branches. This is known as Monster Cropping and monster cropped plants can become pretty bushy.

I took my clones when my plant was 90 days old. I took 7 clones and all but 2 died. So this part of the grow (cloning and how to proceed after) has been weird for me. Basically once my clones took roots I put them back outside for cheap clean lighting. Probably a mistake. I should have kept the clones inside where I can control the lights. Basically in my region I'm down to about 13 hours of day light and I inadvertently started to flower. I'm gonna go get a new light this week. Should I even waste my time transferring my clones from the red solo cups to a 5 gallon grow bag or should I pick a smaller bag. I have included a pic of the light I may pickup.

Seems like you got some good equipment for sure. So go ahead and get a I gave her what it's called man. But it will measure the ppfd off of those LED lights. I think I spent maybe 200 on one that can hook into a digital multimeter. Anyways it'll give you the exact ppfd on your canopy. You can dial those nice lights in exactly how you want them using dimmers. Easy peasy
