nice man. are you not concerned about the ballast being in the same room? lots of heat from that as well..

You do realize that prosecutors LOVE it when they find stolen equipment in a grow.. Its like freaking candy to them, it changes the whole ballgame legally..
You can buy those kits cheap at industrial electrical/lighting outfitters in your town for cash.. I used to get HPS and MH kits for like $50-60 unassembled without cords..

born2killspam, did you put those kits together yourself? were they hard to assemble? i want to try something like that it seems way cheaper but im concerned, doesn't the ballast put out alot of heat?

It isn't stolen. A friend gave it to me from one of the warehouses he owns.

A big mother. This light was just rebuild by an electrician - all new internals except for the ballast. Biggest cord I've ever seen on a light.

Mr I Can Do That For Half
a stolen item just adds more charges to you either way if your caught you have problems. They have these warehouse lights on ebay all the time sometimes called low bay cost about $60 but shipping is exspensive. I used to have a few but I ripped them open added new cord to the socket and a new external socket cord. Then the ballast was safely on the ground out of the way nice light,light in a proper reflector hanging safely. In that size room 1 1000 watt light wont do much heat. I run open 1000 watters in 4x4 tents with little heat issue on 12/12 cycles. Couple small air circulating fans and your good

Thank you for your experience input. I'm going to run a 400cfm fan constant for light cooling and carbon filtration...then a 7" a/c duct from the central unit for cool and fresh air into the room. I'll run this to floor level so the fresh air works its way from bottom to top before being exhausted.

What do you think?
