If Bernie Sanders is for Peace...why did he....

So you are only going to give the new POTUS one year to fix Bush and Obama's mess?
Within the first year I need to see improvements. Steps being taken in the right direction. Obviously we can't expect the next president who inherits 20 trillion in debt to wipe it out by 2018, but I'd like to see a plan for reduction in spending and debt before the pillars come crashing down. Would you like to see a bright future for your children and grandchildren? If so, you need to understand America will soon go bankrupt if we keep passing budgets 2000 pages long and over a trillion in new spending.

Trust me, America is going to come crashing down due in large part to our debt. America's best days are behind her.

I'm a Sanders supporter, I must say I hate all politicians and religions. I'm sure you could paste a lot if shit that that he supported but its unfortunately about picking the lesser of two evils.
"Politics is not the art of the possible. It consists in choosing between the disastrous and the unpalatable." ~ John Kenneth Galbraith

When picking the worst of two evils, you're still choosing evil. Peace.

The people that feel they are aggrieved, initially. If they can bring about proof they have been aggrieved, the perpetrator of the crime seems like a logical choice to then restitute any victims he / she has created.
If one were to be a criminal, this would be even better than the American Old West. Not only do you not have to worry about silly things like centralized databases, but only those with money can have anything investigated. Yep, sounds perfect for a criminal. That is one hell of a great system to hitch your wagon to. Let me guess, incarceration when safety is a concern is paid for by the victim or their family as well, right? HAHA! Brilliant. And those who are poor and wrongly found guilty of murdering your long lost (fake) sister can become your slave! Oh, the possibilities. I can see how this would appeal to certain people. Certain people who like to get away with doing whatever they want.

Well, to be fair I'll answer your original question now.

Why would somebody continue to support something that they knew was completely full of shit? I mean, pigeon's going to pigeon, right? That ain't no chicken.

Thank you for your time.

How come Sanders hasnt introduced a bill to divert some funding from the military to social projects?

Military is way WAY over funded and seemingly for nothing (given its performance in the last 15 years) yet he votes to keep it that way and proposes more taxes to pay for his boondoggles...

Why is that?

Define military.

The enlisted people or the corporations making multi billion dollar profits off the United States' warmongering?
Enlisted. Should use the military trades men/labours to update your infrastructure. Keep employment steady.

No need to come at me with such aggression. I'm against any un nessercery wars and killing of innocents.

I'm as left as they come, proud of it too.

If shit doesn't get better 2018, I will be blaming the next president
I blame ANY president for security breaches, internal and external violent attacks on our interests, people and property........ lack of military leadership, and indirectly for the state of the economy - not wanting or being able to balance a budget whether that's via his role model, policies, or influence on Congress to act. In that regard, Obama has failed on all accounts IMO.

Now that the world is in a state of chaos thanks to Islamic terrorism, any military or intelligence action taken now by Obama is a little too late. How many Generals has he retired because he didn't like what they were recommending?

The debate's main topic was security, terrorism. We do need a stronger military.....look around you shit-fer-brains.

That was one of the most substantive debates I've ever seen. Every one of the Republican candidates were well educated, very well articulated and detailed when it came to foreign affairs and security. Even Dr. Carson impressed me.

When comparing these highly educated Rep candidates with the dumb ass phony Dem candidates.....I can only laugh and shake my head. What a bunch of buffoons.

Lol.

Say what you want about the GOP being intelligent, but careful about assuming that anyone of us like Hillary. I have a pretty left-leaning group of peers and zero of us would prefer her over Sanders.
She's too much of a liar, even for a politician and her heavy involvement in our current leadership should exhibit that she's not gonna change a damn thing. Great pic, lol.

Let's be honest here. Do you think the American government holds any responsibility for the hatred the majority of the middle east and probably the majority of the world has for us? How many times have we intervened over there? How many dictators did we remove to only have them replaced by a dictator we approve of?

Edit: And no I am not a supporter of Muslims as you can tell by my profile picture. It's just nice to see people, especially conservatives, admit the American government faults.

I think you even put it lightly, my friend. It's appropriate to say that we set the stage for ISIS to thrive. Sure, some of the dictators we removed were committing grotesque violations of basic human rights, but they were a far less complex problem on a global scale.
