If i cut all the leafs off the plant in flowering what will happin

if theres already buds on ur plant and you cut off all the leafs and just leave the buds growing what will happin?

will the roots still produce so that the buds will still grow or does it die

im wondering if the buds will still grow without any leafs on the plant??

The leaves take in the light and make the food that feeds the buds which makes them grow. Cut off the leaves and you cut off the buds food.

ok im going through i nute burn so im thinking my leafs r gonna die eventually. anyways its been 2 days since i fed it to much NUTES i think its been burned. all the leaf are starting to turn orangeish colour and are all curling im not sure if i use straight water or not it will bounce bk anyways this is why i was gonna cut all the leafs off.....thanks everyone

what can i do in this bad situation

I would flush it. Or atleast next time ya know to.

Flush the soil really good and the nute burn should stop. The yellowing will come to halt and the healthy portions of the leaves will serve their purpose.

i started running the water over it for about ten mins it looked like the water coming out was orange but anyways i kept the water running in the pot for 10 mins then put her bk on the shelf im hopinf she will bounce back some of the leafs r orange just a few almost all them are curlying even the biiger leafs but there still green think she can be saved..... what will happin to the buds in this case now that shes in this shape

Can you put up a picture? It's hard to know just how bad the leaves are by your description because we all interpret things differently. A picture really is worth 1000 words in the gardening world :)

Where are all the horrible leaves? That plant looks fine... although quite overwatered. The leaves look green.... is it just the tips that are yellowing? If so then you did the right thing flushing it and now you just have to let it dry out and you should see the leaves perk up.

The damaged leaves won't "heal"... but they wont' get worse and all new growth should be healthy.

thanks alot and ya i cut 3 leafs off that were really dry like there crisp there was 2 from the top and like 1 from the bottom all the rest are pretty much all curled they use to big all nicely spread out now all the leafs are all curled inwards on the side of the leafs but alot of em are still green thoe......

again what will this do to my buds....
and is this gonna double my buds...
