It takes a bunch of time and dedication to grow. You put so much time on it, that I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who grows attached to his plants.

I don't understand how you can come over and basically tell people that you stole someone's "baby" and need help getting it to grow...

I seriously thought it was all a joke (well, granted that I don't exactly know the details), I never thought you'd just waltz in and talk about stolen plants like everyone in this forum is doing it.

If the top part died, cut off whatever died. You dont want anything dead/over 80% yellow on the plant. Buds will still grow as long as the bottom part is still alright, but obviously it will yield less since have the plant is gone. Also, it will not grow back unless there is still a living shoot, but I'm assuming you would be cutting off the main stem, or "topping"
