???Are Sanders supporters upset that black people are winning as progressive Democrats in the south? If we can win mayoral race in Jackson Mississippi, we can win anywhere. Why the glum faces, @st0wandgrow , @ttystikk , @Padawanbater2 ? Are you afraid your white rights are going to be trashed?
OK so then you aren't a racist shitbag.???
That’s a silly question Foggy. Why on earth would I be opposed to someone running for office over the color of their skin?
Are you just looking for attention? I hate to say that, but I can’t come up with any other logical explanation for a post like that.
Hmmm, I don’t recall ever saying something like that, so I’m not sure why you’re asking me? But, to answer your question, I don’t feel that it should be kicked to the curb. Social justice issues alone won’t win an election, so I’d like to see a strong stance on economic policies along side social justice issues, but no, they shouldn’t be disregarded.OK so then you aren't a racist shitbag.
Tell me, in light of the recent successes in the south by black mayoral candidates, what do you think of the theory that social justice should be kicked to the curb before we can expect Democrats to win elections?
You support Sanders who is and always has skirted racial politics as a Senator. But OK, you aren't @Padawanbater2 and I do unfairly lump you to together.Hmmm, I don’t recall ever saying something like that, so I’m not sure why you’re asking me? Because Bernie supported these guys (he campaigned for, and recorded a robocall for one of them), and you have made it very clear that you don’t like Sanders, even going so far as to call him racist. Considering that, it’s not much of a leap to conclude that you would not support candidates that he is in support of.I'll just ask this: why did you think I'd be bothered by progressives winning their elections in the south?
Shut the fuck up, pedo.Democrats progressive. LMAO, they are authoritarian as fuck. Obama made it possible for Trump to launch drone strikes on Americans. Not all bad since ANTIFA is a communist terrorist organization.
I don't know that Sanders is racist. Like many white liberals he has difficulty talking about racial issues. He still isn't trying to establish connection with black and brown voters.Because Bernie supported these guys (he campaigned for, and recorded a robocall for one of them), and you have made it very clear that you don’t like Sanders, even going so far as to call him racist. STFU Bernie says you are white and you don't know what it is like to live in the Ghetto my brotherI don't know that Sanders is racist. Like many white liberals he has difficulty talking about racial issues. He still isn't trying to establish connection with black and brown voters.
Where I came to decide he was deliberately avoiding racial politics in favor of systemic racism comes from three things he's done or not done recently. In December, 2016, he was recorded in a town hall interview saying that "people are tired of politically correct rhetoric" and then provided a bizarre and false explanation of what politically correct rhetoric is. The unity tour with DNC chairman Perez was anything but that, he definitely wasn't trying to build bridges with Democrats including 40% of the base that are black and brown. Finally some quotes from him about supporting conservatives who support anti-abortion measures and a statement about supporting conservatives by one of the groups that spun off from Bernie's campaign. This, on top of his ignoring 40% of the Democratic party's base leads me to agree with that base that Bernie isn't a good candidate for president.
That said, if his reform movement becomes more than what Bernie is proposing, then I'm in agreement with the reform movement that has sprouted up around him. It's not a "revolution" but it is a good reform movement.
So that is why he stayed out of the ghetto on his campaign trail? He thought there were no yt folks there...STFU Bernie says you are white and you don't know what it is like to live in the Ghetto my brother
You are right, I should STFU. I'd really like to not have to talk to white liberals who shut down at the word racist.STFU Bernie says you are white and you don't know what it is like to live in the Ghetto my brother
I recently learned that the best way to talk about racism is for everyone to just stop talking about it. This is the new progressive thinking. You are right, I should STFU. I'd really like to not have to talk to white liberals who shut down at the word racist.
