Hi everyone,
nice feedback for area51 I see.
@Natro: Yes, the 660nm is really low on their panel.
I could build one using a combination of CW/WW oslon SSL and hyper red oslon SSL in order to have more 660 and as much blue/ red 630nm but It will be more than 2$/W so their is no point bothering if everyone get good bud with the A51 spectrum.
@pet flora: having two side lighting would be a good idea, maybe after a first run...
when you choose the custom spectrum, and then select 12", once you filled the led, it says 16,1W consumed and 26% efficiency (depending on the spectrum) on the right => first I see a low efficiency and secondly the price is 119$ without shipping for the 12". make your calculation it gives what I said.
No offense but I think build my led are not using very good led and make us paying too much just because it is customized spectrum. Building a 12" rail with 15 oslon on it is not difficult and the price will be more like 4$/W so I don't think it's an interesting deal.
bye
