No my obligations were up after this last run with optics and now its on to the next step. I will always stick up for optic because of what they did for this market and they are legit. Just getting a little dated now.
@BM9AGS You should run 3 or 4 different fixtures from different companies and see for yourself the differences in build quality and performance.
9 out 10 times you will find the coverage area you thought you had never existed due to short spacing/small cases.

isn't this the dream though...I'm hoping who ever bought it will be able to hit the market with a real commercial panel!something in stock and bought in bulk! I got my fingers crossed but only time will tell
edit:i don't mean supporting a company that's not here at the moment but actually having a real company do something with the damn technology

Its hard for the little guys to get something going thats legit. The $ that the topdogs have for R and D is hard to get around.

The CXA are the earlier series of diodes and the CXB is the revision....Version 2 if you will...about 5%-6% more efficient at the same current and the CXB's even run a slightly lower voltage, while being more efficient....
CXB is best of the best at the moment...or one of

You can find some of the exact numbers for the the different types of bins and the Kelvin Temp 3k, 4k, 5k, etc....

There is both the PCT which you can use to calculate any CREE LED under different parameters and a Cree Driver Recommendation Tool.

I left this forum once because of an over abundance of arrogant, self important, know it alls, who would rather berate a newb than answer a question, which when you get right down to it, is the whole purpose of a forum.
But the world is full of people like that, as they feel powerless unless they can lord over someone else.
I won't be leaving voluntarily this time!
So if you can't reply in a polite manner, or are too busy or "important" to answer a question properly, shut the hell up and let someone who cares about the subject answer. You can go to facebook and be an ass all you want, it was designed for people who have nothing better to do.......... But I'm here to learn something, not listen to know-it-alls bicker! but what happens when you start to feel that people are at high risk for hurting themselves do to lack of self awareness?
Just saying a lot of ignorant questions are asked frequently if you can't read simple tutorials with pictures or watch a youtube video let alone find one maybe going this route isn't for you
