If you flush in the southern hemishpere will your plants absorb more nutes!

Hey I am at 4 weeks flowering and plant to do my first flush at week 5 or 6.

I am beginning to get worried about flushing because when i made my soil mixture i was a newb and i didnt mix in perlite, vermaculite, or anything to increase drainage. Its just dirt mixed with potting soil.

I feel like if I did the recommended 2 gallons of water for 1 gallon of soil, i would turn the whole thing into a muddy nasty mess.

How can I flush the nutrients out of these plants without making a massive mess and destroying the plants?

And is week 5 or 6 too late to do a first flush? When should I flush?

Let them dry up real good and just give them plenty of Pure water, no nutes for 2-3 weeks. This will flush the plants also. The plant will use up all the nutes left in your sol mix and be nice and clean. A way to test it is to pull a leaf off the plant and taste the water it drips out. If it has a harsh flavor it still has nutes in it. It should taste clean.

if i pull a leaf off, will water just drip out? or will i have to suck it out?

I plan on pretty much just drying it out for like 4 days in late week 5, compared to the usual 2 and then watering with only plain water and molasses and applejuice but no nutes from week 5.5 on to week 8 then harvest

Thanks for the only response

Bump* any others?
