my thoughts exactly, must be a sentimental thing.don't they sell fans at wal-mart for like $9.
get a roll of 1/4 mesh wire. build a long rectangular cage. put 6 wheels in the cage. run a pulley system off these wheels that goes to a large fan blade. go to the pet store and purchase 12 hamsters. you will need 12 so you can have 6 running at all times. don't forget to feed the hamsters. hope this helps.![]()
try looking at your local radio shak. or a swap meat ask at some repair shops if they know where to find 1
i need a 12v, 3a dc plug/converter, what ever they're called. we've all seen them, big gigantic heavy black box plugs that take up too much room on a surge strip
my fan is 12v, nothing i can do about that atm, so i need a plug, as mine burnt out the other day, and my closet is currently 115f.
thanx!

where do you think i got the one i'm trying to rig?kp... excuse me.. but... do you need a fan? cause I bet there is a garage sale.. no wait.. 10,000 garage sales in the south tomorrow and you can get a fan for a few bucks..
maybe you could trade a small nug for 5-10 fans..
just a thought...
and if it is super hot, you can wear your daisy dukes and get the price down to 50 cent...

Why use up to 500 watts to power a fan? Switching AT power supplies are easy. ATX power supplies require jumping a few wires at the mobo connector. They all still get warm and will burn out quickly. Personally, I'd rather use a 70 watt power adapter with no moving parts (internal fans) to wear out, and use the other 430 watts for lighting. Not to mention that computer power supplies are not sealed and are susceptible to splashed water.here is a idea grab a old computer power supply and then splice in to the yellow and black wire on one of the 12volt hard drive power connectors or go buy a cheap $20 computer power supply. they regulate AMPS and so on and can handle up to i think 24 to 36 amps or more on 1 rale. i use my power supply's for lots of things like cell phone car chargers when i dont have a wall socket battery charger for small moped battery's fans and so on
P.S a computer power supply has 12V/5V/36v/ and then some hehe
also here is a link incase you are going to use a atx power supply Test ATX Power Supply
it was very windy... they got lostmust not have worn the daisies.![]()
