You said you trim between wet and dry.

That would mean that you only chop and hang your plants the first day. It doesn't take 3 days to cut and hang 24 plants.

Besides you said you run different strains and don't chop them all at the same time. So you aren't even chopping 24 plants at once.

I have a veg crop rolling through that gets overgrown, so I have to move everything out sometimes. Other times I run out of room to dry, so I have to wait. I’m not sure why this is so crazy. Three days was actually pretty fast, but I also said I spent one of those days doing it myself. Sometimes the whole thing takes a week or two, but the hours spent bucking and trimming are about the same.

Don’t you grow like two autos at a time?

Yeah? Seems a bit like it. I was asked to provide pictures.

With two people, which is typical, it takes about an hour per plant. That's 24 hours, or three 8 hour work days. I usually don't go 8 hours though. My brain is fried after about 4, but sometimes I have to keep pushing.

Also the number of plants is irrelevant. I could grow 100 in the same space if I wanted. I've grown less, but the plants take too long to fill my scrog net. It all takes about the same amount of time to process in the end though.

I didn't ask for pictures, I asked for clarification. Usually there are two ways of harvesting a plant.

You either chop it down and hang it to dry. Then dry trim it later.

Or you chop it down and wet trim it and let it dry.

Only the second would take a lot of time. Just to chop and hang a plant takes very little time.

You stated you trim between wet and dry. I took that to mean you chop and hang it to dry and then a few days later start trimming. Do you see where the confusion comes in when you say you trim between wet and dry?

I buck them down and trim anything with a stem or sticking out very far. I still have a decent amount to dry trim afterwards, but I'm not counting that time. I've hung them without trimming the shade leaves, but I make shatter with my trim and don't like mixing in a bunch of crappy leaves. I've harvested about a million times now. I don't know what to tell you. If you have a faster way I'm completely open to learning. I don't really enjoy what seems like endless plucking.

to really cut back on trimming hours. I use this now and can process 1lb dried buds in about 2 hours. You need rock hard nugs and a crispy dry but man I love it. And there is less damage to trichs than traditions trimming scissor

I have one of those, but I wasn't too impressed. I use a cuticle remover for dry trimming. apilcrlqp__23698.1592322252.jpg

I think these would work a lot better if they weren't so big and heavy. I wish they made one about the size of a traditional razor.

It takes me 2-3 hours by myself to take down my 4x8. That includes all buckets disassembled, drainage lines all disassembled, rooms swept, all fan leaves pulled, plants cut and hung

So you going to post pics of all 24 in late flower? Or just show seedlings in starter plugs?

You must have massive plants if it takes you that long
