I will give you one more response and then no more because all your trying to do for some reason is talk crap when apparently you have no life. I am going slow now so try to keep up will ya??
But before that you stupid ass this was the original statement """85 is ok for veg but not for flowering you want to be at 70 degrees in flowering to get the best chrystal formation/production"" that was just talking about crystal formation/production nothing more then how it was stated. ONLY GIVING HIM A HINT ON HOW TO PRODUCE CRYSTALS"" the next statement
"Flowering temp is right, Veg I do not like to go past 78 because if it gets past 88 the plants cell structure starts to break down. Not sure on temp tho I think its 85 or 88. Plant gets best Co2 intake at 82-83 I THINK I would have to look that up again because I can not remember the temps correctly"" then came back and said this
So yes if you look at the photosynthesis curve it does say 85 is best for photosynthesis. ALTHOUGH some strains like it different so you really have to research each particular strain. It also sucks because in flowering at 70 degrees you get great crystal formation and denser nugs but at the same time you slow down the bud formation because photosynthesis is not at its peak ( 85 degrees ). In my experiments I have found that 85 is ok to veg at and 70 is great for flowering but I only go to 70 last 2 weeks. I try to keep it at about 78 degrees till the end of week 6 about. I found that works very very well for me. If someone else has different results could depend on a lot of things.. Strain nutes, etc etc. Even if you have the temp right but others are off you can still can get bad ending result. Because I LOOKED UP THE ACTUAL TEMP which was 85.
The answer was kept simple and that is what he does at that time ( 85 is ok to veg but I like to flower at 70 degress ) which non the less is ok to do and good advice for a newbie and that was what he was doing at that time. He was also answering how he liked to do it not we. Now if you read the statements on what he uses and what I use is very different. He is in soil and uses Advanced nutes and some of my techniques when it comes to PPM feeding levels and using RO with Cal/Mag also HE TOPS I do not. I am hydro and use slightly different techniques when it also comes to things like topping your bud, or doing LST ( low stress training ) which he refuses to do that as you can see from some pics I do, in his pics it was not done.
When he was growing he says he has 2000 watts and uses nextgen. I use Lumatek and Have 3000 watts. Do not know about you but I re use my ballasts not buy new ones. I also talk about what I had in there before was 28 and that is because of my setup being bigger ( sorry I am not sooo specific to the point I have to tell you I own a collective legal and all with my boy we grow and run shop, so when I say come to my collective or when I say at my house it does not mean no one lives there with me or grows with me). That is why his first grow looked so good because he had a lot of advice from me on soil with FF and how I did well with it until it gave me a bug problem when the room over heated, he was stuck on trying soil because he heard that it produces better tasting buds and better smelling with no difference in results in yield. I answered a question to you about a statement but said it has to do with photosynthesis. Then you started talking about another statement so I IN DETAIL broke it down to you and gave you the facts about temperatures and how it effects MY PLANTS and then gave you details which I usually do not do but at first thought you were just asking and not trying to be a dick. Also the statement talks about photosynthesis and at what temp it effects plants and STATED I was not sure because I forgot at that moment then came back with the answer in another post. When someone asks if a temp is ok and he gets an answer and then some one states something TOTTALY different and talks about photosynthesis and how the PLANT reacts then tells you exactly what he does in comparison to what the curve is and why because of how that experience was like this statement I made,
As you can see in that thread says over 1 year ago but the info is still correct. In my experiments I have found that 85 is ok to veg at and 70 is great for flowering when you quoted it the first time but I only go to 70 last 2 weeks when I was being more specific. I try to keep it at about 78 degrees till the end of week 6 about. I found that works very very well for me. If someone else has different results could depend on a lot of things.. Strain nutes, etc etc. Even if you have the temp right but others are off you can still can get bad ending result
you start to just ramble twisting words like
When you say you use 70* for flowering, you mean 78*. When you say 85* for vegging you mean 70*
When you can plainly see all I said anyways was 70 is great for flowering for CRYSTAL FORMATION AND DENSE NUGS but I ONLY DO IT THE LAST 2 WEEKS because getting into finding the plants sweet spot and how is a whole different thread. But to help YOU understand more I keep it at 78 degrees for a few reasons and I will break it down for you because I know your slow. 85 is ok, best spot for photosynthesis.. I do not like to keep it that high because if my ac goes out and I have to get something from store or for whatever reason starts to heat up I want to have room to go especially since I have a big rez on a timer and if the water gets as hot as the room would be at 85 and and then started to heat up as the pumps could do when running for the 30 minutes they are on and water my plants that would be bad so I give myself some room at 78 but it is OK to be at the limit just not over. 70 is awesome to flower no doubt at all like it says it does a few things which I have mentioned crystals & density but I not everyone ( again notice the wording it is called English ) like to keep at 78 that is a sweet spot for me that I find works best because you get the buds to grow bigger and still get some good crystal production and density and are closer to the photosynthesis curve which is making them grow bigger finishing up with a cool 70 to make those big old buds start to get real dense which depending on how big they are, the density adds yield and just be covered in crystals which makes the nugs either look better or just be better flat out, and again this is just what I like to do..............
So first try to read and understand what you read. Second you can tell that it is a different grow and equipment. Yea that is my boys grow but since I needed way more room then him we switched rooms. He still uses his nextgen ballasts I still use my Lumatek ones. We still grown in the same place but he never uses this site anymore but I do. So instead of taking all day to try and make one statement look wrong when it actually is right means you have no life and all I am doing is entertaining you. Well have fun say what you want. Fact of the matter is the temp statement is correct especially to give to a newbie when why go into to much detail? give the best answer that will make him happy a cool temp keeps his water and soil in a good range and if it heats up you do not have to worry so much about only having 2-3 degrees to go before harming the plants. So in whatever case you have decided to take time to try so hard to make one statemenet true then warp statements like what I obviously explained to you means that you just need some entertainment and are looking for a response that you can respond to for that entertainment. So have fun and anyone can research the facts I gave ( sorry I did not give it step by step for your child like mind to grasp ) but those are scientific facts about the temps of photosynthesis. And how temps effect plants that I have seen from my experience, What science says and what temps do to plants. If you knew anything you would know that a variety of people use a variety of techniques which all may work I told you what I do and what works for me, In camparison to what makes plants produce crystals like most new people only care about, to then go to what makes them grow better in what temp ( only because some idiot like you needs everything in detail like a 2 year old ) ( Need a picture to? ) Is also different then saying this is how I do it. So try to get a life instead of getting entertainment. Proof is in the pudding buddy and what works for some may not work for others but the science of the plant will stay the same. So try to grow up.......
