Doesn't have to be so.
I do find it comical people are surprised that they are the product for all of these ad based website models and are surprised when Google or apple is their phones to track home and work etc. It's a choice you make albeit to some apparently one made in ignorance

What's funny about it?

Fair enough. I'll be honest I've not the time tonight to sift through any of their articles. I half glanced over something mentioning Russian collusion issues but got called away at work. So I suppose I see how that would garner some attention
It's OK. Please come back with facts and not some unsubstantiated opinion. If you want to disagree, come back with something that contains substance. One @ttystikk is enough. I

Lol

I'll take that compliment!

I can lead you to water but you've proven that you won't drink, no matter what.

Your biases own you.

Yeah, it''s understandable that you could be. You asked though. I responded with an answer.

I'm curious if you are actually able to do more than simply snark.
Umm. I'll have to get back with you on that. At the moment I'm so entrenched in my own shit storm of a life that I can't add any genuine input on the legitimacy of counterpunch as a news source. Or rather whether it's actually a long game gop propoganda machine covered as a progressive news outlet.
And as for the orignal point of the thread all I can say is I was aware that all of these data collection and targeted dissemination of propoganda from the internet. Perhaps I'm just young enough but I've always assumed everything I've done on a computer has been visible to any one willing to look for it. And I'm nothing if not skeptical of just about everything I read or see on the internet or tv. Again it's just the sensible response to me. I just assumed most people are likeinded in their skepticism.

It's not as if I care. I'm just giving you an opening for discussion if you want.

I'm amazed at the details people give out about themselves online too. I'd prefer if our country limited what companies could do with that information. Europe is ahead of us in that regard.

I suggest that if you can't read like an adult that you try sounding the words out in order to find out their meaning.
