Sorry I don't candy coat my comments. I hope were all adults here and can handle some honest truth.^ that may sound offensive but you should totally do what he says duuude
Number of posts has nothing to do with reading, learning and always taking in knowledge. Search or do some research on dissolved oxygen in water, there are some threads on RIU or other forums that has real live data and tests. You will see the water can only have so much dissolved oxygen in it, and it doesn't matter where, how or what but how much. I didn't mean to offend you but when you see silly crap like that I blame the people who steered you in that direction. Is it true? There's no need to aerate in higher parts of water? I've never really been sure... I figured the more aerated the roots stay the better. I'll remove the airstones from the netpots.. mr. 1,430 posts. I'm pretty sure you've helped me before lol
You're the first to mention dissolved oxygen.. I truely didn't know sir. You're kinda an ass though.. just a real ass and you know it and don't care at all lol. Thanks.Number of posts has nothing to do with reading, learning and always taking in knowledge. If you think it is required then @!*(& me and do it anyway, its YOUR grow. Do not listen to others if you think its the best way to grow, as again it is YOUR grow. I was just trying to tell you straight to the point that it was not needed, what you do with it is your business.
I'll make sure I wont post in your threads any more, and I for sure was not the one that told you to do that if I did help before. I won't make that mistake again.
DO is important but relatively easy to maximize, so keep in mind that while more aeration doesn't increase how much oxygen dissolves it does increase how much total oxygen is present at any given time, which is also important. Having those stones up top is a waste because it doesn't pass oxygen across the entire root system like the stone on the bottom. So you'd be better off getting rid of those higher stones. And maybe getting a bigger pump to get more airflow through the stones at the bottom, judging by the video. Unless running just the one stone makes a pretty big difference. You're the first to mention dissolved oxygen.. I truely didn't know sir.
