I have expanding kush that will almost sufforcate you and makes many sneeze. NO mold in it. I am allergic and would be trying to swallow benadryl as my throat and tongue swelled. A few too many encounters. May be mold, may not. Poor dry, cure or chemicals are more likely. Tell the guy as you do so well. And respecting your grow as pictured. How are you preventing PM in that jungle?

It could be that he just ground the stalk in with the bud. This makes me hack and cough hard.

Bass player in a biker cover band a few years ago would do this. He doesn't use a grinder, he's old skool... shot glass and scissors and must be only joints, and must have the stalk in because "he likes the taste."

His black market guy does basement grows and it's stringy and stretchy tiny buds long stalks. Knowing what I know now, I will never share his weed again lol....

Plus, Worst is he's always broke but smokes a pack a day cigs, and an weekly $120 ounce of shitty weed.

Tried to teach him... anything, sadly some of these old dogs are just stubborn cunts lol.

Now he's started trying to grow.... sent me this pic.

how much of the weed you bought on the street do you think had mold? or toxic pesticides that were used by the cartels that grew it for profit and don't give one shit about you?

I appreciate your optimism. It's mold. He gave me a bud a few days ago that was just trimmed. Let it dry 4 days. Smells like musty moth balls. Shoot me your address. It's all yours buddy :) I won't even throw it in the hash pile. Gnarly man. And not in the good way.

I have two 50pt/day Toshiba dehumidifiers that run on a timer from lights off to lights on in there. 34-37% is the average RH during lights off. High 30's to low 40's during lights on. 500 CFM commercial intake fan. 500CFM commercial exhaust fan. It's all about environmental control. Good equipment is a necessity.

I find this to be pompous and arrogant. Supposed pro that is asking for PM denying what they would have done for a joint in times of scarcity. We all grow the best online. Not so much in reality. Pictures are only a deceptive assumption of truth.

If it didn't give me an upper respiratory infection it probably didn't bother me much. Just a word of advice - if you smoke something that makes you sick it may be time to reconsider your decision making process.

I have a good test for PM and mold if I'm skeptical
flick the bud (must be dry enough and you cant have too much airflow where u test) between your eyes and some light and see if you see spores fly off the bud. If it is wet enough the spores may not puff off so be sure it is not moist. Wear a respirator if super skeptical and proper cleaning gear

and then something i never tried, was an h202 bath. If the buds are infected with mold I think it will fizz white which is an indication that the bud has mold.. that is just from research and not experience, so i'm not really sure if the h202 fizzing white is really an indication of mold/pathogens. I'm pretty sure the fizz is a reaction from bad shit though

I'm only replying in respect to your seniority on the forum. No nerve. And yes. Plenty of mold in 35+ years. Not a nerve. Not a complex. Just prefer to avoid better than thou folks. Funny I hit a nerve. And one plant here makes a mockery of your pic if we are now going show and tell.

I don't care to indulge your vanity and ego is all. More rewarding cleaning up after the dog outback honestly. Take a pill and stop putting others down to increase your appearance. Peace.

I've grown and smoked my own for the last 12 years. I grow 5 different strains at a time. I switch strains out when I want something new. Works great and keeps me out of overpriced dispensaries selling boof. Ordering seeds is quite easy these days. Order whatever your heart desires, right?

If your grow environment is in check there is no possibility of mold developing. The fact is many people are Ill equipped to keep their environment in check resulting in high humidity in flower creating the perfect breeding ground for mold spores. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
