something i dont think anyone has mentioned is you now have a group of people who know your growing, plus whoever that group of people choose to share the story with. Someone will be back sooner or later.

Well I wouldn't be as concerned if they took the evidence without a proper warrant or consent. They would likely leave everything undisturbed hoping you would keep business as usual allowing them time to get a warrant from utility records and by saying they can smell it.

just continue doing you, call the service guys and have a chat with them on what they did see if they spill any beans on what they saw (if they saw anything)

My friend got a call from the fire dept telling him that his basement had flooded in a flash flood and they were knocking his door down to make sure no one was drowning inside. He was at a concert 2 hours away and Baked. He had a grow room in a locked closet in the basement that they also cut the lock off. The Fire Chief talked to my friend the next day and said that the Sheriff didn't see his grow, but a couple of the local volunteers did. He told him "you know how the locals talk" in our town. It's a tiny town in dairy country. He promptly took down his grow asap.

As said above. Better take a vacation from growing there. Who gives a shit if you’d get off in the end, still got to get to the end.

Oh yeah I'm definitely abandoning my grow for at least a year, which is pretty sad since I only got two grows out of it. But if I get off that easy, I'll take it as a blessing.

It's funny, when I decided to grow my reasoning was "there is no chance the cops will ever be in my basement since I own, the only risk is if I have a gas leak... and who ever has a gas leak?" (and even then I would have been fine IF I had been home, cause it would just be the gas company and I could get rid of stuff). Perfect storm of cutting corners and bad luck

I think the cops would have likely taken pics of the evidence to provide to the prosecutor to see if they want to pursue the matter further. Leaving the evidence undisturbed hoping the grower will keep growing. The DA understanding the legalities involved would make the decision as to if and how they would want to move forward. You could get very lucky and only receive some sort of warning since your grow isn't massive.

If it was me though I would probably already be halfway moved out and have retained an attorney. lol

Also, just something to consider... do you have firearms on the premises? If so then you should get the guns off premises and away from the weed as thats a 5 year mandatory federal charge there for a firearm with the weed.

If they didnt see or smell bud, it’s very likely that your fine. Some people don’t know what to look for nor do they recognize the smell.


I wonder if the OP is bored..
