I'm not going to link to any news articles, jfgi already. You may or may not be up to date with the latest round of police state institution but it goes something like this...
Based on a recent US Supreme court ruling, It is now unlwaful to resist unlawful search and seizure. The rationale is that in our 'modern society' you have other legal recourses such as 'sueing the police.' This is probably because the police are moving toward a profitable corporate structure in the face of a bankrupt government. In other words, if you get raped by the police, your only option is turn around and rape the taxpayers in kind.
On an entirely unrelated note, it seems google searches for 'fake police "uniforms" OR "costumes"' are up. There must be some strange new spike in interest for indie cop films.
