Well they actually did everything for me that’s why I have trust issues lol they did my finger prints photo and they mailed it out for me I didn’t have to do anything but go but with you saying that they took 2 months to charge you doesn’t make me feel that bad but I will definitely be calling thanks for everything you got your card already ?I had mailed my paperwork in after visiting with my dr. I had gotten printed same day using DMAZ Corp. in his office but my check wasn’t cashed for about 2 months after mailing my paperwork (with app). If I were you I’d call the state office IDPH Canaria division tomorrow morning. I had called 1-855-636-3688 to get the status of my application and make sure they received it. I would try around 10 am or maybe 2pm those are the times I had gotten through.

Reason I ask I have seen most people say that there check get charged a day or 2 after and i applied on 07-27-2018 and I still haven’t gotten charged anything I emailed the state and the did and auto reply saying they are back tracked

By reading this thread for months now I can tell you the trend seems to be that checks get cashed when they are about to review your application however credit cards get charged when the application its received call just to verify that it was received when you call also ask when they got it so you can track your timeline that helps you have a good idea when yours is about to be reviewed and lets others here know about how long the process is taking too

No I completely understand. I had my paperwork combined with all needed documents also I literally just dropped in a mailbox was all. I wasn't sure if your dr had filed electronically is all. It seems that if you file electronically through a dr you will be charged right then but that doesn't mean it's then entering the states "processing" queue at that point. The state actually processes on there timeframes (about 75-90 days from when the app is received) and right now they seem to be processing, beginning of June applicants. I had my appt beginning of June and mailed same day. Never received confirmation or anything. About 3 weeks later I just emailed asking if they could confirm they received my app which they did respond with a generic email about mid June. Then silence and nothing until I called on 8/13 as my check was finally cashed on 8/10 as I wanted to see if I was approved. A nice guy told me after reviewing that they were completing my background check and I was on the right path as it was assigned to a caseworker who would complete the background checks. I emailed again on 8/17 just asking to see if I was approved (I provided my address along with name and DOB) as I had seen people were getting there cards (people who mailed a week before mine) and I received an email within a half stating I was approved and should receive within 10 - 14 days. So if you did mail a check with your application honestly the time frames I have seen are about 60- 65 days, then they process the check and start the background investigations and you enter the process queue. If your dr did electronically and you were charged that day I would mark the 70 - 75th day on the calendar and call every few days to see if you were approved. Also I would call tmw to see if they just received. Realistically about 75-85 days from when they receive the app (via USPS or electronically). Hope this helps as I know the wait can be exhausting. I was just approved and waiting for my card. I will post once I have it.

Not yet mine got delayed for a picture issue but since I was approved around the 15 I should receive it by Monday hopefullyYes I will definitely let people know how it’s going and hopefully help ppl how they have help me how about you gotten your card yet ?

That's amazing congrats you two! I checked with the state and they received my app on Aug 6, so I gave a while to go still. The waiting game is a killer, at the same time I'm glad I got started when I did. Hopefully things start to speed up since in June they changed the way apps are sent in and reviewed.

An update, my card arrived yesterday!
Everyone who mailed out around 5/29 should he getting it soon!! See my time line on page 127!!
That’s awesome news. I submitted (via USPS) first week of June so I’m hoping to receive mine maybe beginning of this week as I was approved recently. My check was cashed on 8/10. I’ll post a timeline once received and congrats to everyone that has received there’s recently.
