Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

It says 56 days but if you scroll down it says below "Send me notifications" - click that. It will then ask you when you submitted your application and whether you did it online or snail mail. Then it asks how often you want to receive notifications - choose whatever you like. Then finally just put your name in and then it will give you an exact date of when they predict you will receive your card.

I didn’t know how to get the exact date either until he explained it earlier this week. We’ll see how accurate it is. Fingers crossed!
 
Yman173! We are basically on the same timeline so correct me if I am wrong.
State received: 3/5
Called 5/9, was told app was sent SOS beginning of last week and after that being sent to printers and it would be 10-14 days once they receive it.
Checked informed delivery today it showed nothing.
Wife brings in the mail tonight and BOOM, it arrived!!!

Purpleflower...Thank you. The dispensary is a bit overwhelming for me, bud is not an option. So leaning towards edibles or liquid. But dosage will be an issue too. Oh well, hopefully I enjoy the learning curve...lol!

I'm sure you've heard of leafly.com, if not it is a GREAT resource. Also, you might not be ready to try this yet but it can be cheaper to make your own edibles. It's really not that hard! If you're on Facebook check out the group "Illinois Medical Cannabis Recipes". I never thought I could make my own edibles before and thanks to them I am definitely going them give it a try when I get my card!

Hello Everyone, I have been following this thread for a while now. Here is my timeline so far.
02/12/18 I went to an all in one clinic.
03/11/18 My card was charged (I thought this was a good sign)
05/01/18 I called to check the status of my application since I had seen people on here getting their cards from later in February. I spoke to a very nice woman who told me that my application was submitted electronically by the clinic on 03/11/18. The clinic waited a month to submit my application. She let me know that they hadn't gotten to mine yet.
05/17/18 I called again to check the status and another kind lady told me that my application has been approved and will soon be sent to the printers.
94 days from clinic to approval or 67 days from state received to approval and still waiting on the card to be printed and mailed. Overall I believe I will be joining the over 100 club since the clinic delayed my application for a month. It is such a shame it takes this long to get medicine.

I seriously think we’re days apart. My informed delivery has been a bit off this week so I wait to see what’s actually in the mailbox before I try to think about it. Mail doesn’t come until mid-afternoon so I’m still waiting on today. OMG, this is torture waiting for it! I’ve been looking at the menu at my chosen dispensary for weeks now and there’s so much I want to try! I am planning a huge shopping trip the day after I finally get it. The edibles and some of the flower looks amazing!!
