By chance can you post a picture of the envelope that it came in? Lol that way once it gets scanned I’ll get an email that it’s being delivered on that day. Just so I know what to look for Incase it’s not marked!

The envelope said Illinois Department of Public Health in the return address spot. Other than that, pretty plain looking white envelope.

Sorry for multiple posts, but just a bit more information. My card says it was issued on Nov. 21 and just arrived today. It looks like it was about 9 business days from approval to getting it in the mail.

The state cashed my check on 11/22 but I haven't heard or seen anything else. No email, no letter or anything requesting more information. I guess I'm just in limbo until I either get a card or letter or email. I didn't go to an all in one clinic or anything, just my family dr who was open to trying it.
So I get home from work and what’s in my mailbox?? Yes, my card also arrived today!! I am so excited!!!
So just a quick date to date update so people know what to expect.
Submitted application on 9/19/17
Application received by the IDPH on 9/21/17
Checked cashed on 11/24/17
Received card on 12/4/17
My card says it was issued on 11/22 so just like Jackie said..once the check clears, it is just a few days before you will get your card.
I am very happy I got my card but at the same time I wish the state of Illinois would not make this process so long and difficult compared to the majority of other states that have medical Cannabis as well.
So just a quick date to date update so people know what to expect.

It has been 32 days and of course no update or anything of that sort. I just wanted to know if you guys have any tips or advice on what to do at this point? Thanks

No luck for me today! Anyone else get theirs?
You for sure have to wait at least 45 days before you can email them because if you don’t..they will tell you to check back after those 45 days.
Unfortunately, there is not too much you can do but wait at this point. You are at day 32, it takes about 65 days before your check is cashed. Just keep an eye for that check to clear, after that it only takes about 10 business days and you will get your card(assuming they don’t send you a letter letting you know something is missing or wrong).

I think from my own experience and reading others experiences on here. Seems most are getting checks cashed about the 65 day mark! Most are getting their cards about 10-14 days business days after that. If you email I put I. Subject line my name and dob
A brief but to the point email.
I’d like to know the status of my application.

You will definitely get a generic email back! I also got a follow up even after the generic emails stating when my application was received and even told me that they were a month Behind to be patient!
If once your check is cashed and a few days later you get a letter in the mail stating additional things are needed like me. It’s not the end of the world just read the letter and do what it’s says. Get it back to them as quickly as possibly!
At that point once I got my letter when I emailed them I personally got a direct response from the person doing the application! At this point I was able to get more infor from the person bc I was able to email them directly!

Also go to USPS and sign up for informed delivery! This is free to do and all mail that’s going to your address on that day is scanned and a picture of the envelope will be emailed to you so that you’ll know what’s in your mailbox for the day! Works pretty good to!

I didn't get my card today either Brew. Since the check cleared no card, no letter stating they need something from me, nothing.

I’m pretty sure that you should get yours before I get mine! I’d say you should get yours this Thursday! That would put you at 10 business days. Worst case the 14th!
I'll just be happy to get it! I'll post as soon as I do. I guess I don't have a lot faith in the state so I'm a little pessimistic.
