Ouch. What a cruel world. Good luck sleeping with all the excitement. LolI couldn’t handle the wait so I went home early from work to check the letter to confirm and sure enough it was my card. And then I figure out that my dispensary is closed on Monday’s.
Nooooooooooooooooo!
Day 87 since mailed. Card in hand!!!
GreenCare Medical in Palos Heights
Mailed in packet. 6/29
Received by state. 7/2
Check cashed. 9/7
Told it was sent to print 9/14
Card in hand. 9/27
Total days since mailing. 87
I never received any letters or emails or phone calls. I did call one time on 9/14, when I was told that I was approved. 87 days seems like an improvement over where it had been running. I’m working out of town today, but will be at the dispensary tomorrow! Peace all!
"That is an improvement. I think we would be shocked at the small amount of people the state has processing the apps. Think handful."
Not getting into politics at all, but this, so much this! I'd wager the three people who everyone keeps getting on the phone are the THREE people who work there. I'd also wager that people calling repeatedly is slowing things down way way more than the people calling and demanding answers can even grasp. I'd also wager that those worker's know those of you who call ALL the time by name and voice and if you think a state worker isn't petty and underpaid enough to lose or misplace or put your paperwork at the bottom of the pile I've got a bridge to sell you
I'm with Rauner more than I'm with JB (I don't trust his political views) not really trying to be political in this thread. So I'm around day 50 on waiting for my card! Hopefully at worst I'm within about a month of actually having it in my hand! I'm excited!!
I got no e-mail, and Finally called on Day 100. It arrived 2 days later.Got an email from the IDPH yesterday (day 91).
“Your patient registry card has been approved and sent to printing, you should have it within 10-14 days”
Out of the blue.
Paid and submitted online, June 20.
Day 92, no card.
Frankly, the chances are extremely high that Illinois would have at least a robust medical system had Rauner not been elected. It likely would be legal by now. The state supports it and many local and state politicians do. The only thing preventing this is Rauners veto. This isn’t really “talking politics” more then just stating fact. Good posts. You might want to Know that Rauner is the Person who blocked Chronic Pain from being a Qualifying Condition, and it still is not approved. You have to be Diagnosed specifically with SEVERE Fibromyalgia. I have been on Disability and Opioids 10 years, yet he says I am not deserving of it? I got my card by Getting a Spinal disease exemption. But MANY people in situations like mine are not only Denied disability, but also Medical Cannabis. That is So Wrong. And ONLY under Rauner and Republicans like Jeff Sessions who have done this. Rant Over, Make It Legal.
How did you find that out?I am still processing at Sec. of State as of today.
