Im a beginner

im a beginner grower and i want to make sure that i grow my cannabis healthy and i grow it right. Im also in school so im working with a very TIGHT budget but i can manage to make it. so far i have a 75 watt florescent light bulb, miracle grow (which i dont know if it is good to use) and a 6' fan to blow in fresh air. I was hoping if someone could b nice enough 2 inform me on any other items i should buy like food, etc

what kind of floro tube...i would recommend some CFL lights...you can grow some plants with a 50$ budget. Go to walmart and find the GE Daylight bulbs...they will have a 100 in the corner. They are 26 or 27 watts a piece. The size of your grow area will determine how many of these you need to get.

step two would be getting a refelctor...hit up your local dollar store and check out their baking pan section. you can find lil greenhouses and find a pan you can make into a reflector for your cfls.

get some sockets for your lights at walmart...they are $1.26 a piece or something...buy the wire as well i think its two bucks.

cut holes in the pan and insert sockets...screw in bulbs and hang and you got yourself a light for dirt cheap and it works wonders. any other questions PM me.

Try to use a different soil type other than Miracle Grow. Most of their soils have time-release ferts in them that can hurt your young seedlings. Not to be rude but you can't get anything out of that book that you can't find here. Plus other people's opinions are always helpful. What happens when all of a sudden something is wrong with your plant? You ask your book for help and all it does it sit there. They can have good information in them but at least you can get real help in this forum.

I started some seeds in some Seed Starting soil with no notrogen, phosphorus, or potassium in it, then started some in Miracle Gro, with .21% nit, .07% phos, and like 4 or something of (K)potassium. The seed starting mix came up better, is it?

Drocbuster, in my opinion the mix will be better for your seedlings but you'll need to find another soil when you transplant or find some good veg nutes.

Would Fish Water work just as good or better then merical grow? my mom used it on her lilock trees for plant food one year and didn't use Merical Grow and just the first year of use it had a leef that was bigger then at least one of my hands and the leefs are supose to only get about 1'' to maybe 2'' long and about 1'' to 2'' wide
