Dude, your plants are fine, lol. Maybe you put too much water if they are curling down a little. And the topping looks fine, give them a few weeks and you'll have a nice little bush! Give them some nutes

LST = tie'ing them down , new branches shoot out everywhere , then down they go, no need to top, but topping is also usefull, & your plants will shoot out just fine

& another good thing about LST , is, it doesnt stress the plant as much , in or out .......IMO.......goggle it & have a go with 1 , youll be surprised , what it will do
