I'm a newie, newbe

I have be reading messages and just built my 4'x2.5' grow room,will use a 400 watt HPS, with a conversion bulb for MH, and vent out to to the same place the furnace , and water heater use. My question is, if i cut some clones from the plants what would i use for light? If i use HPS for flowering, i can't use the MH for vegging because one bulb does it both. Can you do vegging & flowering with the HPS bulb?

HPS you can veg and flower both but MH are better for vegging at least from what i understand...if you could veg it with the MH and then flower with HPS

hi and welcome, yes you can use that hps bulb for vegging and flowering, but you will need sum cfl or ft for the clones, good luck,,

If i flower 12/12 with the HPS, can i use the CFL in the same grow box that i'm flowering the plants in, without any divider between the flowering plants and the clones?. About how many watts for the CFL, for 2 clones.

you cant have the light from your cfl, veg room geting in to your flower room, as your flower room need 12 hours of complet dark, 1x30w cfl will be ok for them 2 clones,
