Im a very new smoker and want to go back to training (fitness) should I quit smoking?

Alright, here is a prelim on what is going on with my life

I used to never smoke... only once every couple months due to a special occasion and peer pressure.

Im also very athletic... I used to run 4-6 miles every other day, and lift weights hard and heavy on days I dont run... I had a very nice physique before my hand problems.

but 5 months ago, I broke my hand very bad... (3 places) and required surgery/rehab

now, my hand is doing better, I want to start getting in shape again (im a slob(not really) because I indulged in plenty of munchies and enjoyed these 5 months, but enough is enough)

I tried running yesterday, only made it to 3 miles before I was huffing and puffing.

I also Might or maybe have an undiagnosed condition of athletes heart. I never consulted a doctor, but my resting heart rate is around 45-47... my blood pressure is around 105 systolic (both of which are lower than average)

I guess the point Im trying to make is, how bad is marijuana affecting my heart? (im not concerned about the lungs) Iv been known to pass out because of my really low blood pressure

I enjoy getting high, but I enjoy being in shape better.

as of now, I vaporize about 4-5 times a day.... I only vaporize, the occasional one or 2 bong rips (once a week at the most)

my lungs feel great, but during the 3 mile run yesterday, I felt lethargic, dizzy, I was pushing my body way too much.


will all of this improve?... or should I give up the herbs?

I know people that smoke everyday and still run miles a day.So you can still smoke and work out.If your gonna be boxing or MMA or anything like that and your trying to compete quit smoking it will only hold you back farther and will more then likely be one major thing your opponent has over you.I need to get back out and start jogging and hit the boxing gym again to when I get off this house arrest bullshit its killing me to be on this shit.

I lift weights religously, although I'm kind of a slacker when it comes to cardio. I smoke everytime before I lift and started this about a year and a half ago, it has improved my focus extensively. It is kind of an experiment, I grew up in Texas Football so working out has always been a part of my life. I'm 24 now, a year and a half ago I weighed 205 (pretty much my weight since sophmore in HS), now I weigh 250 solid. Ofcourse my long run time is longer, but I'm a way faster sprinter now not to mention immense strentgh gains. I understand what your going through, two years ago I fell off a two story roof (splat), the way i landed f#cked me up pretty good. Oh yeah no supplements, just the MJ and lots of weights. The passing out seems like you need to moderate your daily sugars a little closer, I have a low heart rate also (just healthy). Speeding up the heart rate for people like us before and obviously during a workout can produce optimal results.

dude, smoking herb is a performance enhancer! I toke up right before I work out every single time like it was a supplement, cause for me, it is:D toke hard and toke long!

I just read that you vaporize op you shouldn't have any problems from the weed then keep vaping that shit its something else wrong with you

you can do both just regulate your smoking look at michal phelps he won some shit of golds @ the olympics so hell do what you do
