I'm on a journey .... I'm kinda like Waldo even a hydroponics growing dude wondering just how he can implement organic not synthetic and use a recircu system here we go baby!!

My system is a oxygen cube ebb flood drain recirculating system in coco perlite and vermiculite added feeding every 3 - 4 hours what if I instead set up the cubes hoses to drain into a diy tray type deal where I can collect and refuse the compost tea's I brew of course I'd have too discard around 20 or less hours with RO water only cal mag and silica blast hydro guard or that other brand I forget the name I just ordered it like 100x stronger than hydrogaurd then a tea repeat I'm just a rookie go easy on me my theory is if I keep the coco 80 - 90 percent wet like I currently do with great results I wouldn't have to use a crazy amount of tea's as I could just keep the one batch aerated and brew brew brewing along for a brew or 2

Technically I could water or mix a combo up of some sort to water down flush the system like a currently do once a week but this one everybtime I discard the tea, also would have a air stone in the collection tote bin w.e wouldn't that Technically keep the current tea "brewing" my res sit at 68 69 degrees consistently throughout the day and night

In vitro testing was conducted to evaluate the inhibition potential of three compost teas (pine bark, manure, and vermicasting), Root Rescue Landscape Powder® (a mix of mycorrhizae and other beneficial microbes), waste diatomaceous earth (DE; from beer brewing), and a greenhouse nutrient solution, which had been reused for 20 years on six plant pathogens: Fusarium foetens, Rhizoctonia solani, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Phytophthora cryptogea, Pythium intermedium, and P. ultimum. The test materials showed in vitro inhibition on most of the test pathogens. Pine bark tea suppressed growth of all six pathogens, and inhibition exceeded 50% after 10 days of coincubation. Vermicasting tea showed over 40% inhibition against S. sclerotiorum and F. foetens; manure tea showed 42% inhibition against F. foetens; DE showed 40% inhibition against F. foetens, S. sclerotiorum, and R. solani; whereas reused greenhouse nutrient solution showed 56.7% inhibition against R. solani and 43.4% inhibition against F. foetens; Root Rescue showed 66% inhibition against P. intermedium. The results suggest that the six test materials have potential in the control of these soil- and water-borne pathogens in plant production system.

That's exactly why I'm trying to organically feed gives the perfect amount needed every time super easy for a rookie like me it's very intriguing most likely I'll toss a clone or 2 at this type set up and work some some fouls I'm sure but it will be a completely separate system than I run my girls on for 1 plant test I can just suspend the fabric pot collect run off and run a test

But I dun wanna suck it

Why not just build a recirculating aquaponics system, and feed the fish?

Whats that ? N i dont got any fish i got lots of plants tho n built a greenhouse

There's levels to that comment and I approve

That room will smell like shit and probably end product will smell like it came out of a septic tank but maybe it can work if you dont grow some deadly bacteria inside it

I do appreciate your insight, a question I have tho is I organicly fed these 85 percent of their life top to bottom of course nor collecting run off with organic and I never had a smell ? Most definitely bit arguing or saying it wouldn't I'm just a new guy here trying learn everything I can as I go so thanks for your input

Well i saw people do half earth half water and it works no reason for your stuff to not work. I just remember my teas started smelling like shit after 3 days.but i didnt add soo much stuff like you and maybe it wasnt airated good.... Why dont you share some of your plants

I'd look at using water pumps to create waterfalls instead of air pumps to stop it going stagnant

This is my very first attempt to ever water any type of plant in my life unknowingly I picked buying 2 advanced set ups using oxygen cubes its been a LONG learning road, I bought these clones and ive been verging them for roughly 6 7 almost weeks easily I just initiated flower last night eeeek nervous as shit bit I have 2 air purifiers running 1 big 1 small and about to hepa filter sheet the intake exhaust got 2 brand new dehus and live in Arizona so humidity is NOT any issue whatsoever buy better ve safe than sorry, take running 2 hunidifera in my living room Jon stop to hit 55 60 percent

I was too inexperienced to use the system starting out so I hand watered .... organic I have so many down to earth nutes it ain't even funny probably 12 plus plants worth done a lot of deep research into organics and love it throughly, one problem is I had no idea how to treat coco and I was only watering once the bucket almost completely dried out just like soil tf..... so about once every kther day as babies and 1x 3 weeks ago little did I know esp adding more perlite and vermiculite also I cam feed these girls every 3 - 4 hours and keep my medium at a 90 percent saturated level veg - flower, so it's only been avout 3 weeks they have been getting treated properly and a few homies @BongerChonger @Skillcraft @hotrodharley
Have took some time to patiently explain some details and educate me I had a probably 3 week plus Mag def I've been rocking and couldn't wrap my rook head around to fix that little bonsai tree had the worst of the problems but she's recovering and I got 10 autos seedlings in the garage with her as I give her another week or 2 to recovery properly before I throw her into flower time with the other 6 I've got a long way to go learning yet but not to shabby thanks to these forums and YouTube I got a bunch of lotus nutes 2 sample backs and 2 starter kits came with my tent kit and I purchased a set of the big bottles sadly for like 180 bucks YIKES,

The autos are in soil some auto living soil some Gia greens base some Gia greens base and flower like good ol Canuck on YT does, was forced too buy another tent last night last min decision as I threw the auto seedlings and bonsai momma in the garage so withen next week I have a probably trash but cheap 5x5 tent and at least the parts are all quality ac infinity exhausts filter and I have a beast of a 600 watt verybright led light ready to throw in her I've never got too use as my 2 4x4 are too small I think

I know I'm probably wasting my time with those little 90 watt lights but as a experiment I really like the idea of light penetration esp areas that would mostly remain lightless compared to canopy, perhaps this will toughen up some larf and or make the little usually cutting off bottom stems a little umph

I just ordered some bitchin pheno seeds from humbolt County in CA got girlscout cookies and strawberry cheesecake, I'm learning how to do clones right now finally had my first ones take root in my 3rd attempt at aerocloning but I'm too new I figured they was hardened off by not needing the dome to survive anymore so I transplanted (early) and threw them under light without any type dome came back from the Dr visit 2 hrs later and they are acting like it's still Halloween and they can dress up and play dead ..... cut that shiz out ladies got em in my bathroom and run the hot shower once in awhile and mist the dome over them I think 3 or 4 of the 7 I put in there just might survive lol everything's a huge learning experiment for me at this point but I'll dial her in eventually and probably do a LOT of experiments this growing stuff I'd cool

I'll say it before everyone else I know I know them clones look like SHIZZZZZZ never thought they'd root like the other attempts esp not using any type hormone whatsoever but sure enough I didn't even use a dome when they first went in just misted them non stop next time I'll be doming I was shocked with the looks of leaves that I found roots but hey I don't like what I see means I'll adjust next time right only if I'm doing the same shit and not changing anything is when I'm in trouble I have a real passion for gardening ever since I brought these clones home day 1 I was hooked

Ps I got like 10 clippings inside glass cups rn with 3 4 showing roots so looks like I'll get a round 2 of trying transplant and dome these in a day or 2
