so i have been growing my new plants for about two weeks now. they are only one and half inches tall(i have 3 plants). i was wondering why they have been so small because comparing my pics to other peoples pics i know that my plants should be a lot bigger at two weeks. well i started the plants off in jiffy cups and didnt even think about cutting a hole in the bottom so the roots could get through. so today i rip the jiffy pots all the way to the bottom of the root system and duhhhh.. they roots were trying to get through but couldnt and thats y they r so fuckin small!!!!! ahhhh god i piss myself off. but anyways im still optimistic about my grow. i transplanted my 3 babies into a big ass pot 12 inch pot to be exact. but my the two leaves on all 3 plants r turnign yellow i guess from the roots trying to penatrate through the jiffy pots? i dk someone give me advice on what i should do.. thanks

Look OK... just give them some time to get used to new home... sitting in damp soil may have slowed them down a bit, roots are easily 2x+ the length of plants height...... water at that size once every 3-4 days... and NO nutes till 3-4 weeks..... I see you left some space at the top of pots... good... when they stretch a bit (they will with CFL) you'll be able to pile dirt right up to bottom leaves... Luck..
+rep..

Dude your plants are small cuz you suffocated your roots with no drainage holes. You most likely have an overwatering problem. What are you using for lighting?

i am using 6 26 watt daylight cfl.. yeah i figured i suffocated the roots. i just transplanted all 3 plants in the same pott(is this ok for now) so the roots can have more growing room lol. but yeah give me more advice i need it

Just sit tight.. like someone else said. You need at least 3-4 days, preferably a week to evaluate a transplant.

NO NUTES... those plants are easily 2 weeks away from needing anything, esp. since they just went into fresh soil.

I would advise you to get each plant in their own pot. The pot that you will want to keep them in for the remainder of their life. Avoid transplanting. You don't wana get all their roots tangled either. & after that just avoid watering too much. Let the dirt go dry. The roots breath during the drying process of the dirt since air will leak into the soil so don't water untill you know the soil is dry. That will let your roots get some air.
