I’m confused and I need help

This is my first time growing cannabis and i’ve never grown any plant before. I’m growing 3 autoflowering plants; 1 northern lights, 1 sweet tooth, and sherbet.
My northern and my sweet tooth was grown at the same day which is almost 29 days ago now and my sherbet is almost on its 17th day. It’s winter time today and since I started growing and I will admit that they never got the right amount of sunlight for almost 20 days. I transplanted them thrice now. I got my LED grow lights last week and since that day, they already grew some 3 fingered leaves. I’m worried cause i’ve been reading articles about
autos that they start flowering on 4th week or less but mine has only one set of leaves and i’m on my 4th week! Is this some seed problem? Or did I stressed them out so much? Should I have patience or should I germinate new batch of seeds?

Dazed,
ConfusedNancy
I want to understand something you said correctly. Did you say you’ve switched pots 3 times??? It’s possible that by doing that you stressed the plants out and they are stunted. Autos do best if you plant them right in their final pot from the start. This reduces likelihood that you’ll stress the plant out.

autos are easy to grow and require less nutes in general, BUT, the “problem” with them is if you stress them out when they’re little you could stunt them and thereby affect your results down the road since you can’t “pause” the plant in a veg cycle until it gets to where you’re comfortable flipping the switch.

I’m not sure what your plants look like, but here’s mine at day 33 from their first emergence out of the soil.

Ultimately, you want to remember: don’t stress yourself out too much, you’re new, and learning . Just continue to learn from your mistakes and you’ll get it down pat!

And don’t curse me! Lol I still got several weeks of flower. Anything can happen!
Just listen to your plants pal, they will tell you what they want I guarantee it. Always pay attention shortly b4 a scheduled nutrient appt and read your leaves bro, best way to go. Especially wit autos cuz less is ALWAYS more nutrient wise with them! I’d do a feed feed water regiment if I were u, letting ur medium dry out nicely in between feedings of both nutrients and water buddy and since this way u will feed twice a week probly wit nutes so only only use 1/4 strength max in veg and half strength max half way thru flower building ur PPM up to 800-1000 for a couple feeds maybe. Or just do what ur doing too man that seems to work! Hah

I started at 1/8 dose of nutes and worked up to the minimum recommended dose and I don’t see myself going too much above that. Admittedly I feed every time I water but that’s a product of the light feedings I give them and also that I’m using BioBizz nutes (which recommends you feed with every watering).

I only water every 3-4 days and my watering is predicated on the pots being super light or the plants showing visible signs of needing more water. At this rate they’re getting about 10-12C water/nutes every 3-4 days in 3 gal air fabric pots.

my last feed was right about 600ppm, so I’m only gonna bump up a bit more and leave it at that. I’d rather not maximize their genetic potential and still have a respectable yield than get greedy and poison them with too many nutes.

As you said, less is definitely more, and I think sometimes as growers we overlook/forget that!

Happy growing!

Lol, it’s not that hard (at least I don’t think so), just gotta do the research (which some don’t)
If it’s ur first grow u can read all ya want online but until u have a few harvests ur gonna mess sum stuff up, like how to water them n let em dry out for maximum growth (things like this is very hard to learn by ear and eye but u must do it and fail/succeed yourself to fully understand the cycle of the marijuana plant, it’s natural tho. That’s why u got guys like me here to try n help considering I have closer to 15 yrs than 10 , growing.. the wet/dry cycle ur plant endures throughout its short life is crucial to a successful harvest always remember that, timing is key

Great keep it up u seem to have interest in your plants seeing ur posting stuff, that’s good u care, u will do great.. just remember if ur feeding every watering to make sure u eventually after every half a dozen feedings or so give ur medium a very good “soak down” to flush ur nutrients on n out of medium to avoid toxicity, u don’t wanna b 3 weeks out and have ur nutrients all of a sudden bind n stress ur plant n all of sudden u will c stupid definiciencys u donno what it is n shit. K?

Also I see ur in small pot of 3 gal, so u will defy wanna flush ur plants good twice for sure.. 1 good flush 9-10 days out from the chop would b nice. Don’t mistake and feed extra knowingly that u will be flushing next round too man that’s how u toxifry em..

Makes total sense. Maybe I’ll give them one more normal feed, then on my next watering I’ll just give straight pH water! I always look at each plant before deciding what to do since they’re all different strains and progressing at different rates.

And yeah man, I love growing plants in general. My green thumb saved my wife and I thousands of dollars by growing all of our own wedding flowers!

No doubt! I’m going to flush probably 2 weeks or a week and a half from the final chop. And I’ll most likely give straight pH water in two feedings just to keep things in the soil balanced!

That sounds really good, curious now to see ur results now with the bio biz! I’m running advanced micro grow n bloom this run wit voodoo juice, an I’m getting sum big bud and blackstrap molasses for flower. That’s bout it I just lost like 300$ in nutrients when my buddy had to vacate his old home, so I’m rebuilding my set of nutes atm on a bit of a budget...I do like B-52 and rhino skin by advanced, and botonicare “sweet” is nice to use instead of molasses.
