I put this in the newb thread, but have not got answer. I'v been getting about a inch a day, or a little more. Plants are doing great why use nuts I keep thinking in the back of my mind is today the day, but I'm satisfied with a inch a day, I will being going to 12-12 in another 20 days, So unless something really changes with my girls I'm sticking with this.. I wonder if anybody on here ever went the inter cycle with no nuts,, I'm not against nuts but why fix something thats not broke, I bet big percent of pages on here are people trying to fix something that nuts caused,,

here is what I use half FF and half of my mountain soil I have up here at 9200 feet.
LED lights and CFLs
aspen twigs on top of soil.
lights 16 on 8 off.
Strain is Magic Mountain. LSD, and Popaya

Elk ate my Banana Kush,, I hate when that happens.. good growing guys...

So what's new? most soil has nutes in them. If they're in pots, eventually it will consume all of it, then what? If thy're planted in outdoor soil that's fine. Most plants grow outside with no nutes added.

Not all mediums are equal when it come to nutritional value. Some strains require more nutrients than others. And a plant my be slightly deficient without showing any visible signs. Once you do need to start using nutes you will have to start slow and work the dose up so you do not shock the plant. So in most instances its easier to stay on top of the game rather than play catch up later........

Al, it might be the soil from the Mountains up here that as nuts in it that I don't know about, or my delicius well water.. The soil I dug add a bunch of aspen leaves in it from last year..

An under-fed plant will always beat the pants off of one that is overfed...bottled nutes are mostly a lot of hype...giving your plants large amounts of things they don't need...or rather that they need, but not in the amounts we give them...so a plant with no food will always beat one with too much...but if you get one just right it is even better, better.

Bro, she is drinking at least 2 gal every 2 days... WTF!!! It seems like her bucket is always light.. I'm debating wether I should put her in a 10 Gal smart pot,, man I hate messing with her I don't want to screw her up... and I don't have a green thumb at all, my hippie friends told me the less i do the better she will be.. Tell Marcells Wallice. I said Hi.. and his ass goes down in the third...

Aw well if it is needing water that fast, then you should repot as it will only get worse...I've got one now so freaking rootbound that you have to poke holes down in the soil root mass just to get the soil wet...I need to repot her too, but I am running out of room .

some strains are light feeders, while others can show deficiencies quickly from seed...

i just grew some c99, and that strain showed nitrogen def. at about 2 weeks out from seed.. the soonest i have ever seen a plant show, yet there she was, yellow as poop 2 weeks old and screaming for some nitrogen, even though she was growing in ffof soil..

I'm betting it's your mountain soil. I live in the mountains but in a river valley so the soil here is river rock, clay and sand. Are you digging out of some old beaver pond area?? If so you may not have to feed to the end.
