If this is about people complaining because threads get deleted... then you people bitching are obviously blind to why they were deleted. Probably because they were "on the subject" of something touchy. Religion, race, etc... I always see those threads get deleted, then right after people bitch because it's a strong topic. No, it's a touchy topic, always. Considering the mass amounts of people coming in to the site and all the mixed views... those threads are ticking time bombs for fights. Deleting them PREVENTS bans. You people keep poking and poking. Just shut up and kick it here, sheesh.

Mods are to keep the peace, reassign threads and stop certain marterial being posted ie indecent pictures thats fuckin it,.that shud be all whilst contributing to the website aswell, Im sure nobody wants to see pictures of Half dying people when they go onto a website for the chat and craic,

there is a group of people who don't understand forums. 2 or 3 of them will post up in the same thread for half the night. going back-and-forth about mundane things. they are bored and have nothing to do or say so they just kill time hijacking threads. but it's toke-n-talk so they feel they can do whatever they want. some of us actually follow along with some of the threads they post up in. we see there are new posts. we go into the thread to catch up and have to read thru 30 posts of "i just spilt my soda". it's somewhat rude and it seriously impedes the "flow" of the thread. i asked people to stop for several weeks. it almost became a joke. "careful, they will close this thread". yes, a lot of us post dumb shit. but then we move on to the next one. it's the ones that sit there for hours going back and forth that we had issues with.


am i making any sense? :-|

No sense to me, no. Because I show up here randomly and follow rules, so I miss most of the "good shit". Guess after you've been on countless numbers of different forums, ran forums, modded for forums... the respect level grows on you.

I can undertstand both sides. I see where people understand toke n talk to be a place for superfluous bullshit to get unchecked. Then I see where the mods come from saying that its unnecessary clutter to an already cluttered space of stoned people going off topic randomly enough as is, that people that are concious of this like the "elites" should know better.
