Im having a tough time.

Ok, so this was my third grow attempt and Ive failed all three times:wall:......The first two times the plants grew to about 3 inches then the stems withered and died. I think its because both those times I overwatered. This last time, I had delicious seeds northern lights ice. germed 4/4, and planted them in my new grow tent wich is in my closet. However the humidity was about 20% with a temp of 95 degrees, not good. The soil dried up and the seeds did as well. I have a good set up, good soil, goods seeds all that. It seems now I just have to raise the humidity and lower the temp.

So any tips? Could I possibly use perlite to raise the humidity, and if so how much for 4 plants in a 4ftx4ftx6ft grow tent?
And how can I set up a cooler environment and some air exchange in the tent with fans?

Also, could someone tell me specifics on do's and dont's during the seedling stage? Cause they seem to be very fragile during this time and I figure if I can get them to maturity then my job will be easier

Thanks guys:leaf:

Do give plenty of light.
Do give them a fan to strengthen the stems.
Don't overwater.
Don't give nutes.
Do talk to them and play classic rock.
Enjoy.

To raise humidity try a humidifier. They work wonders. Or a propane powered CO2 generator also raises the humidity while adding CO2. But heat is an issue with either. I'm sure you require a tent and am not questioning that need. But I do question why so many are restricted to these Easy Bake oven kits.

The good news is if you lower the temperature, the relative humidity will rise and you will be all good.

You could put your light in a cooltube (can buy or make one) and use an inline fan to suck the air out of your tent. Another more expensive option is switch to LED lighting. Otherwise you're gonna have to leave the door open to lower temps or put a portable a/c in there or something.

Failing all that you could always try an outdoor grow with some autos. Although I don't know much about them or if that is even feasible but I don't see why not, and you could research it.
