Ok i have a LA con been flowering for 8 weeks and about 50% of the hairs are brown/red. The buds are about 1 inch in circumfrence, is that normal?

Im using FF soil, i was watering everyday during flowring 400ml of water and every other watering i gave them tiger bloom....

leaves are still nice and green i had a couple turn yellowish... i dont have a camera and my cell phone takes horrible pictures ill try to post some tonight when i borrow someones digi.

it's tough to say anything with no pics to see! do you have a mag scope?? i got one for 20 bucks at radioshack and it's a life saver...sometimes the hairs can lie...check the triches, i like alot of amber for that narcotic stone...

I bought the radioshack..but my daughter was playing with it... need to look for it.. my concern is the thickness of the buds...

ya it sounds like you might have messed up somewhere down the road.... the buds should be a lil thicker... but if its you first grow with the strain then atleast you got it to bud.... now you just perfect the growing process with that plant... try more nutes/less nutes..... less/more water.... veg longer/shorter...

ok so i looked at the trichomes through my microscope and they are clear.... so i think what happened when i went to flower it wasnt really dark as it should have been so im behind perhaps 2 weeks or so...

Check your trichs daily because they can change and they can change in a real hurry in some strains.

I once had some plants where there were just a few trichs turning milky and the rest were clear. I ended up in the hospital for three days and when I came home most were brown and only a small amount were still amber so in that short of time they totally changed and what I ended up with was not at all what I wanted.

Myself I like more of a head high, the more the better in my opinion, so I take plants when the trichs are all milky white.

To me a 100% or almost 100% sativa with milky trichomes is what getting high is all about. I love that soaring clear motivational head high and not the butt glued to the couch and not enough energy to pick up the remote control to change the channel or advance the DVD player to the next DVD and getting the munchies so bad that I want to eat an entire cow and then top it off with a dozen burritos. I never enjoyed getting stoned but I always loved getting HIGH.
