I'm in the weeds

I lowered the light and turned it up higher. Trying to not get the tent too hot. On reading 3 I am up over 13k lux. I will transfer the 2 plant to 5g tomorrow. They are going to look lost in that bag Haha Screenshot_20210814-170025_Lux Light Meter.jpg

Well got 1 transferred over into the 5g and the other one in a 2g. Figures that when I transplant the 3rd one, I will put it in a 5g. Doesn't appear to me that 3 5g grow bags will fit into my little tent. Here's hoping for success. I am kind of concerned about the one in the smallest pot. Although it looks the healthiest, the stem is rather spindly. Repotted.jpg

Start over and use fox farm ocean forest. Start seed directly into moist soil, put a baggie over the top of the cup, and when the break soil, don’t water until dry dry. Seedlings don’t need much water. No need to feed with the ocean forest for a long time. Keep light well above, and if plants start stretching, lower it. That’s as easy as I can make it for getting started on the right foot.

That's what I've done, but I run autoflowers. Plant directly in 3gal fabric pots after soaking seeds in warm water for 24 hours. Some seeds benefit from a slightly longer soak, max 48h but I've had 100% success rate soaking 24h and then planting. No need to do paper towel (though you can). Soak, plant, water, put a glass above it and keep it moist. Water with a dripper for until you get first set of leaves and then I start using the watering can. Haven't had an issue with germination or over/underwatering yet. Just use common sense. Don't drown the poor things, use aerated soil with a good amount of perlite and don't bother them too much. Overmanaging plants kills them.

So, moved the tent to another room. It is about 83 degrees right now and it is 88 outside. Made a passive vent with some of the hose used on the outtake motor. Set up now.View attachment 4950844View attachment 4950845
Looks like your intake is up near the exhaust. I would recommend putting it down low for much better circulation. If that is your humidifier in the tent I would make sure it’s not heating the tent. You could always put it outside the tent near the intake pipe.

Smokinggun Thanks for the tip. I have a lower vent window I can open for better circulation. The humidifier is not being used. I need to take it out of the tent. On its lowest setting it creates way too (75%) humidity in the tent. I can definitely turn it on outside the tent. Maybe that will even things out. Turbo and Durbin I will certainly look into those options with the new batch.

You can run 75% humidity with the temperatures you are at. As well as the phase you are in. It will help you reach a decent vpd. If you can get your temperature lower, than lower your humidity to 70%. Just a suggestion to deal with your heat issue. However the more humidity, the less you water.

I agree with this, in early veg with decent ventilation you are fine to push the humidity.

I repotted them and watered them in right before i took that photo. I am waiting 3-4 days to water and make sure that it is dry at least an inch down into the soil. When I replanted yesterday the roots had already grown to the bottom of the little pots and had not started wrapping around yet. Hopefully that is not the case. After what I have done to these, I'm surprised their still alive.

So my small newer plant has an issue. Guessing nutrients but not sure. Repotted it a few minutes ago. Other older plants are not showing the yellow on the bottom set of leaves. Any thoughts what it might be?20210828_054237.jpg

Looks hungry for nitrogen. But you just transplanted so should correct itself. I wouldn feed anything yet
Thanks I was hoping it needed something, I couldn't figure out if it was that or magnesium. Hopefully 5 gallons of new ff happy frog will help it out
