Im lost....HELP!!!!

Ok, Im growing a transfered plant that was only about 3in. tall when I got it. When I got it I immediately put it in a bigger pot with quality soil. Its been a month now since then. Im so confused because it is growing up nicely (about 16in. tall now) but isnt bushy looking at all! I see all these other guys with plants just as tall or shorter and they look like they have a much bushier and fullness that mine just doesnt have. It is growing good and has a strong stock but isnt branching out how others ive seen do. Do I just have poor quality weed here or am I doing something wrong?

Also my set up is simply a single pot plant in a good size container, (1) 150w bulb and I water with distilled water. My lighting is usually 18 hours on 6 off. Plant is approx. 6 weeks old.

your light sucks bro a 150 isnt going to cut it.if you want decent buds you need to invest in at least a 400 hid you will be happy you did .the strong light makes it thicker and dencer. your trying to mimmic the sun and 150 is good for seedlings but not for your whole plant life cycle. good luck bro PH2

Well i only had the 1 plant so I figured it would be enough, but no huh? Also any idea how much more a month some of you pay on your electric bill a month using these high power lamps?

I have a 600 and its about an extra 30to 40 bucks a month. nothing your electric company will notice just pay your bil on time.dont sketch just think almost everybody on here probably has at least 1 hps. and if you get one get it air cooled so you push the heat away from the light yes you will need a fan to cool the light.if I were you just buy it 1 thing at a time if you have too. and when you get a hid you can switch bulbs for veg and for flowering. it gets fun with the bigger lights they turn into monsters

so.....I just read about the 150w bulb I have, the incadescent. Apparently they suck, lol. So i guess tomorrow I will be buying a flourescent. My question is what is the minimum Wattage of flourescent I should buy...250w, 300w, 350w? Again I am only growing 1-3 plants at a time.
